Has anyone else noticed that Jim never fights with any of the men?
He's so condescending to the women but always respectful to the men , is this is inner chauvinist coming out?

Yep, I've noticed this as well. I don't think I've ever seen him talking to the men in the house the way he talks to the women sometimes.

Maybe its because the men do not have any issues with him and they dont bait him.

Yeah all the men seem to like Jim only some of the women seem to have a problem with him. Casey likes him though and they've always been on good terms.

He's admitted he's sexist. Although he has no issues with Casey nor her with him. End of the day he's rather a cranky old bastard. Typical ex drug user - alcoholic.

he hasn't rowed with Liz, Sam or Casey!! Linda had done a good job of collecting her little posse round her. I find males MUCH MUCH easier, having a house full of young women and young guys round my house with my kids, give me the guys ANY DAY!! I also find watching shows such as Geordie Shore etc its the females that are hard work, LOVE drama and LOVE to cause drama, the guys generally want to play football X box and have an easy time.

Maybe if any of the men, and I use that term loosely, in the house had goaded Jim as much as Linda and Luisa have, you may have seen a similar reaction from him.

Lets face it, if Jim had acted towards Linda and Luisa as they have towards him, BB would have kicked him out for Bullying.

What a silly statement! Why should he argue with any of the men? It isn't they who are behaving so badly and disrespectfully toward him.

He isn't condescending to the women. He treats them with the contempt they deserve and have earned through their thoroughly foul, obnoxious and rude attitude.

If you have watched BB before then you would know that rarely do the men fall out or have issues its usually the women. Linda and luisa are vile to jim and doing their very best to break him. Im fed up with constant tags marched in by pc brigade. It was a different time .. its not acceptable now .. fair enough.. but what has he said or done thats so offensive in the house??

Vile is a very harsh word and it's used way too freely here , I wouldn't say they're "vile" to him or that he's "vile" to them because its really not that serious. You say "pc brigade" like it's a bad thing why is it a bad thing to want to treat people who aren't the "norm" ( ie. a straight white male ) with respect and like equals?

I can't remember him arguing with anyone. Sure he's made underhand comments after provocation, but he tends to remove himself from the situation.

Linda obviously has a problem with him for whatever reason, and Luisa openly says she hates him. How you can construe this as portraying him as chauvinistic or condescending is beyond me.

He is showing admirable self restraint and tends to be the one to apologise even when it's six of one and half a dozen of the other.

He also gets on well with Liz, Casey and Sam. He is not the problem in the house.

Some blokes are just perpetually confounded by women and their ways. You could call it fear as much as hatred.

I find that he can be quite condescending to Liz , though I'm sure he does like her , I think he gets on with Casey and Sam because they're the type of women he likes , women that don't question him

Luisa, Jasmine and Linda all have. Linda in particular has been baiting him so much that it's incredible that he didn't bite sooner than the Frank Carson incident, and to be fair to him, he realised that he shouldn't have said that and apologised for it.
