Who will be in skate off tonight?

Anyone like to predict two people in the skate off tonight

Todd and Gareth appear to obvious choices as they will be at the bottom after the judges scores but might have enough public support which could save them.

I am going for Bonny vs Kyran. Bonny will be near the bottom with the judges and she does not have a fanbase so seems an obvious choice while Kyran will finish mid table with judges and maybe near the bottom of the public votes.

I had thought of Zaraah but she seems to be building up a bit of support so might survive another week or two

In the skate off Bonny to go

I think Bonnie might be too. She might not have a rebound vote whereas Sam might. We can hope for Todd, but who knows...

What's the running order?

I suspect any one of Zaraah/Todd/Bonnie are likely - quite horribly I imagine it could easily be Bonnie and Zaraah. Sam I think will get a rebound, Gareth I think might have enough support to get one more week but who knows - he's the 4th possibility for me.

Ideally we want anyone with Todd. However I do not want Gareth with Todd - as when Gareth survives that would give him a rebound the following week possibly!

Do judges' scores count this week onwards? They bloody better

Judges scores do count this week.

I think it will be Todd v Bonnie. I think Jason's comments probably helped Todd get through last week so if he zips it this week I think it will be bye bye Todd.

I share the consensus that Sam will get a bounce back vote this week but still think it won't be too long before he's in the skate off again. I suspect the judges will do their best to help him as well - however they should be wary of overdoing it. I think even more than the OTT wedding stuff last week, the overmarking of him when he made obvious mistakes probably contributed to him ending up in the skate off.

Bonnie's always struggled for votes & I think she'll get forgotten in the let's keep Sam out of the skate off arc and she'll probably be mid table at best on the leaderboard.

Agreed about Bonnie, I think she's less likely to get a rebound than Gareth despite being much better. If anything his lack of ability compared to others could help him a bit due to his fan support, whereas Bonnie is good, but not as good as others, and therefore gets lost. It was the same with Jorgie.

I do think Bonnie has the potential to be top 3 some weeks on the leaderboard though as she can now skate, so who knows with the right routine and let's face it that's basically what it comes down to.

My main hope is Hayley gets a better one - all the other decent girls got to show off what they could do, but she never did.

Todd Carty & Gareth Gates?

Bonnie will probably get high marks from all the judges as she performs beautifully while being carried around by her pro partner, but I think viewers may not vote for her because - unsurprisingly - they are less impressed by someone who cannot seem to skate anywhere near as well as most of the others. Which means she may be in the skate off but will quite likely still be saved by the judges.

Perhaps someone who can skate or is close to someone who can, as I am, can explain why they think Gareth is worse at skating than Bonnie, if indeed they think that.

Gonna say Bonnie vs. Gareth

It's about the whole performance - and that's why she's better. Plus, she can skate better now unlike in series 1. Gareth might be slightly better than her skating wise, but not hugely and his performances, thus far, simply don't compare to hers.

Performance is subjective, so if you are a fan of her style I guess I can see that view.

I prefer something a bit less showy and particularly so from a male, so I prefer Gareth on both counts.

Althugh the consensus of opinion seems to include Bonnie in the projected skate off I hope this isn't so.

Contrary to popular opinion she can skate - though if Chris and Jayne continue to take the easy wat out with a choreography that is top heavy with lifts she won't get the opportunity to show this.

imo she's better overall than Gareth and certainly better than Zaraah. As for Todd no comment needed.

My votes tonight will probably go solely to Bonnie as I think my other favourites, Ray and Suzanne, should be safe.

Bonnie is nowhere near drawing her pension - she's 59 this year and imo is incredibly fit, lithe and talented.

Your comment isn't even worthy of a titter.

Bonnie and Zaraah I fear. Zaraah 6th and Bonnie 7th I think.

I think the 4.5 score for Gareth was manipulated. If they drum up sympathy for him and put him at the bottom of the leaderboard alongside Todd, it's most likely Todd will be forgotten.

Zaraah and Bonnie both struggle with the public, but since Bonnie's underneath Zaraah on the leaderboard, I'll say Bonnie will join Todd in the skate off.

I'd absolutely love it if Bonnie and Zaraah received more votes than Sam, putting him in the skate off

Zaraah managed to get more votes than him last week, so hopefully, it's not an impossible task...

Me too. I've swung a few votes Zaraah and Bonnie's way. I really enjoyed Zaraah again this week. One of my faves tonight

I agree with this, I saw Bonnie on the live tour and she can definitely skate she just isn't being given choregraphy that allows her to. As my other favourites should hopefully be safe tonight I think that I will vote for her tonight as well. Todd will probably get the sympathy vote again although credit to him for skating on his own I think it's time for him to go.

I think four people are in contention. Bonnie, Gareth, Todd and Zaraah.

Choreography does not disbar doing crossovers, which were included in the routine, properly instead of halfway over.
