4 of the series biggest characters and contenders to win, wiped out in one foul swoop.
Leaving only what can be described as 'deadwood' to compete for the winners title against the only possible winner, Josie.

Now what I find reassuring, is this could possibly never happen again thanks to channel 5 introducing positive voting.

But in hindsight, why do you think they decided to do that to the final of what was at the time, the last civilian big brother finale ever!

Whenever I doubt the shows future on channel 5, I just reassure myself by looking back at the incompetence of BB11!

What a bad idea that was much as I disliked John Joe ( John James? I've forgotten ) it was so sad to see the lovely hilarious Corin go , she would have made an amazing winner!
Also awful that DAVE ( ugh ) finished second and that Mario JJ and Andrew made the final at all

It was the biggest fail of BB ever. It was just shit.

Corin could of won if she stayed. Enough people didn't like Josie, and Corin had a huge following.

It was horrific. I don't even want to think about it.

A Corin, John James, Josie, Sam and Mario/JJ/Andrew/Dave would have been a great final.

Instead we got Josie, Mario, JJ, Dave and Andrew. I don't think any series will ever surpass that as being the worst final. Sat through 13 weeks of BB to get to that.

I remember PEJ posted on the forum during that series, he soon disappeared after pulling that little stunt though.

I sometimes wonder if maybe hadn't agreed to do UBB and that's why they needed to ensure she didn't make it to the final. She was really the only person who had much of a chance of beating Josie

It was the most despicable decision made by a BB production team since they decided to manipulate Nikki Graham back in the BB house.
That was the first BB final that I didn't bother watching(Have missed other since though)
The lack of live feed is my biggest bother with C5 taking over BB but by the time BB11 had finished it was very minimal on there too.

She really was. Corin was the favourite to win for most of the series. The last 2 weeks she was in the house she was picking up a HUGE "Anti-Josie" vote. I think she probably WOULD of won if she was in the final.

It's like Channel 4 (if they had any input) couldn't wait for UBB to start and to be rid of the franchise for good.

If that had been the end of BB it would have been a shame for the last regular series to end so tamely.

If it was a vote to evict/win I think we would have been looking at the four that went will have made final and Josie would of probs finished 5th

I remember him on this forum, I think it was during BB11 he finally admitted he made the wrong decision putting Nikki back in the house, then he pulls a stunt which was just as bad so Josie won!
Honestly the stick he got all the duvet coverage during BB on this forum, your poor friend having to work with him

I think having a 'vote to evict' eviction just a few days before the final is a bad idea anyway, nevermind with almost everyone up and half of them going. lol

They should have just opened up the voting to win and eliminated four that way, that would have been exciting. Certainly more exciting than the housemates choosing one of them to have immunity.

Can't help but think that once Josie was given immunity the producers just didn't care anymore. They had got their winner and must have really liked the thought of her being in UBB, so basically threw BB11 in the trash as soon as they could.

In all fairness BB11 has 24/7 internet feed , it was just the wrong housmates , Caoimhe , Shabby , Ben and Corin were all great but the rest were crap with the possible exceptions of sunshine , jo and sam

Truly awful production decision, though. Wiping out any of Josie's competition in one night. I mean, aside from Mario (arguable) - Josie had terrible housemates to beat in a vote to win. The vacuous JJ and sex god Andrew.

Dave as runner-up is just sickening beyond belief. No smiley can do that justice.

I loved all three of them , why couldn't Dave have been up for eviction that time

The biggest mistake and some might say biggest fix in the history of BB. I still can't believe that night lol

Corin was a fantastic house mate and deserved to win by a Country mile over Duvet Josie ( only my opinion, of course )

One of the worst clangers in BB history along with putting Nikki back in and with it a chance for her to win even after people had spent a lot of money in the first place to get her out

Fair do's they did admit the Nikki stunt was a mistake though

Then there was the Halfway House in BB8 when they unfairly kept chopping and changing just to make sure Ziggy and Liam were safe from going

And also from BB8, the constant meddling to make sure Charley stayed a lot longer than she should have

Do you know I'd forgotten that I'd even paid for it! I stopped watching live feed when Ben was evicted, because it had turned into the Josie show, yes totally the wrong ones were left at the end

I think they assumed Steve would get the immunity. We could well have had a final with Steve, Dave, Mario, JJ & Andrew.

josie would have still won ..although unpopular on here ..she had the voteing public..corin although reasonably popular did'nt ..you can't go on betting odds either ..josie was also a fav to win some weeks ..so infact was john james as was sam pepper

It certainly livened up the series when Sam Pepper arrived
Maybe Josie would still have won if there hadn't been the quadruple eviction but sadly we never got the opportunity to find out

I agree in general, but I would never have called Steve either a big character or a contender.


I very much doubt if Corin would've won. If all of Sam P, John James and Corin made it through with Josie I think Sam would've won. If only one of John James or Josie made it through them either of them probably would've.
