That's what I thought. Really, I think she is making excuses for Linda's behaviour towards Jim while at the same time saying that Jim should not retaliate - and I am no fan of Jim's but he kept his cool for long enough before her spite got to him. Coleen Nolan might have damaged Linda's chances of fostering now.
I feel sorry for Linda. To loose your husband to cancer whilst you are battling it yourself must have been a very difficult time. Then to recently loose your sister too. I think with Linda not having children she was saying it should have been her that died not Bernie so that Bernies daughter wasn't loosing her mum.
I have no hatred for any of the housemates, but I feel this moment in time Coleen has seen what a bitter & twisted person her sister is coming across as, so laying down the how she is at a vulnerable place at the moment card, I'm not saying jim is a saint but don't blame him for Linda's behaviour, yes they have history but she is going on at him like pure hatred towards him, let it go!

Coleen is calling Jim a bully for what he said to Linda, and goes on to say horrible things about JIm, but if Linda had left him alone he might not have said anything. Linda is the one who referred to it a few times without saying exactly what it was. She should have zipped it up.

Well I would imagine with a history of Cancer she would be worried of getting it again. Would love to see her quit the fags, that goes for all smokers too.

Linda went in to fight with him tried her damnedest to get him to react.

Having worked for Childrens Services I dont think they would consider her under these circumstances. They have to be very careful who they place children with.

It appears as though the person you quoted is correct especially for children under the age of 5 or those that have breathing difficulties, they will not place those children with a smoker and would prefer not to place any child with a smoker at all.

You really couldn't make it up. She has harassed that poor man since day one. She has had a calculated campaign to try and turn the house against him. If anything he has been bullied. Because Jim knows how to handle it, nobody makes a big deal of it.
It's disgusting the way Jim has been treated in that house.
