At risk of being pedantic it would have to be filmed live wouldn't it?

It is probably broadcast on a 15 minute time delay like the live footage in the old days to enable major whoopsies to be removed. The VT's of course are not broadcast live but the rest looks as if it is. What does it day on twitter exactly?

There's definitely a small delay, because now and again, they play bird sounds when someone says something offensive.

at the end of last night's bots, iain was in the camera runs watching ollie and sam in their part of talent show task. according to twitter the task ended at 7:21 p.m.

so bots filming would've started around 6:30.

It must be live, or live-ish, because like a lot of barely competent presenters one of Emma's stock phrases for when she has one of her muddled moments is "That's live TV for you!"

Or "Heeheehee, I can't speak today!" ... Nor yesterday Emma, nor the day before.
