Undoing an 'upgrade' to Sony Xperia Z tablet
Does anyone know how to remove a software update on the Sony Xperia Z tablet?
I received an update to Android Jelly Bean 4.3 today and really don't like the new interface. I think I had 4.2.2 before and want that back. Can anyone help? |

I'd like to know how / if too!
I think that this version is a bit unstable. My tablet now sometimes hangs when powering down. KitKat is supposed to be coming in February and I suspect that we will have to wait for this though they will be tweaking the interface yet again. |

Ditto with the powering off issues. I have mine in a case with magnets that turn the screen off and I sometimes find that closing the case forces it to finally turn off but not always.

Officially you can't. You'd need to root the device and install a custom ROM (at your own risk and you'd void the warranty)
