Just because I'm watching BB1 on YT and I can't find anyone's eviction interview. Was it not a thing back then? Did they leave the house and that was it?
Was there any eviction interviews for BB1 or any of the early series?

I can't remember anything apart from Davina talking to them at the gate in BB1
In BB2 they certainly did have interviews, sitting down, the only one I remember though is Helen's
I remember interviews in series one as well. I think there were two benches in the middle of the studio with huge video screens in the background and the audience on the other side, kind of like today, really.
I remember in the final in BB1 they did interviews. Also I'm sure Melenie did an interview when she left. So I imagine they all did.

They definitely had interviews in the first series. I remember Davina showing them what Nick had been up and them being surprised.
The thing with BB1 is it was actually shown twice. The first time around it was the full shows with full eviction and interviews with Davina in the studio. In the re-runs it was just the highlights shows and none of the eviction interviews. Maybe the ones you are watching are from the re-run series which was shown shortly afterwards. The copy of Series 1 that I have has the full interviews on so I can definately say they were on there if that helps

Yeah, I remember that in the interview with Tom, the Irish guy, they showed a newspaper photo of Nasty Nick standing next to Brad Pitt! It must've been a big surprise when the housemates first came out, how popular the show had been in the outside world, I think some of them assumed it'd just attract a modest cult audience rather than result in them being snapped with a movie star!

Yes! And particularly because BB really respected the no contact with the outside world rule in those days. Nowadays they'd have probably sent Nasty Nick back in as part of a task and he'd have told them all about it.
