It's beginning to quite upset me. No matter what he does some people, who probably weren't even born when Jim was at the height of his career, just want to denigrate him for the sake of it. It's small minded and nasty.

ok...my last post on the subject....Jim's reasoning was blatantly unfair. If I was Sam and Ollie ...winning or not.....I still would have challenged his reason for not giving a ten because he gave a ten to someone who did what they do for a living.
...I know it was a game but I guess Jim just annoys me..

I was very young living in British Forces Germany during the Falklands war and he always sticks on my mind with his support and the stuff he did for the troops at Christmas etc and having served myself he's pretty impressive with his support to this day.
I had a gripe with how Linda and Luisa scored Casey and Liz, I felt that Linda's reasoning for Liz was senseless but I did not make a fuss of it.

My Dad was with MOD in Germany, Cyprus, HK etc.....We grew up hanging round with the BFBS team as many of them were the only Civies on camp with us too! My parents both adore JD for all his work with our troops. If you search back through my posts during this CBB I have posted numerous anecdotes of JD's work with our Armed Forces. I wonder if our paths ever crossed?
