Lol my grandad was a horrible old bustard, I used to have suck crunchy crisps so as not to incur his wrath - I certainly wouldn't compare Jim with him.

I don't think Jim is miserable I think he likes different things just as they are entitled to say we like to party he is entitled to say I don't want to. When it becomes an issue is when it purposefully done to annoy someone.

I wouldn't let my grandparents go in the Big Brother house. My two nan's would probably join in the party anyway.

I understand Jim doesn't like the music and the partying but it's not just him their. Fair enough, take yourself off but don't start huffing because you don't like it. It's Big Brother.

However, I am one who doesn't really like to party (I'd actually be one of the younger ones) but if I was in Big Brother, I would understand that they throw parties and as it's meant to be a game/social experiment, I wouldn't get drunk but I would socialise and try to enjoy myself as best as possible as it's a once in a life time opportunity.

Jim has seen Big Brother before going in there. Even if there was no one trying to wind him up Big Brother would do it. There are always sleep deprivation tasks and all the rest of it.

I'm sure it's difficult if people don't respect your request for quiet but his response of being noisy in the morning isn't mature either.
It also affects everyone not just Luisa.

In general people should make an effort to respect their elders but it is not an automatic right.

Respect needs to be earned and thus far very few of them in there have done anything to earn the respect of their fellow housemates or the viewing public.

This is a trashy television sex show, not your grandmother's house.

I laughed when Jim started banging things around in the bedroom and kitchen in the morning.

Liz and Linda didn't seem to be partying either after the initial snacks but no one was badgering them about it. Obviously the younger ones are going to be more into dancing around.
