Of course they are and always have been.
In BB4 Tim asked, before voting, "Is tactical voting allowed?" BB replied YES.

Anyone with any sense in there uses a tactical vote. One of the best tactical voters was Victor. He explained it all and made it really transparent and enjoyable

BB decides if the reasons are "valid" even if they are lies. If they really did make Jim change one then they could well have manipulated who is going.

Well, they manipulated it anyway as they changed it from top 4 to top 3, causing three other people to avoid being up.

Yes and this is not a new thing. As long as you give a valid reason you can vote for whoever the hell you want.

Did you hear that somewhere or just deduce it? They've never said on the show.

Those with 2 or more nominations are automatically up for eviction and has been the rule since it moved to Channel 5 .....

I can't think of it ever being top 4. It has been everyone with 2 nominations for quite a while now.

BB are pretty inconsistent about what they will allow, and to be fair they can't have a rule for every possible evantuality. Someone on here - it might have been Aaron - said that sometimes they are in the diary room for absolutely ages while BB rejects reason after reason, but that doesn't get shown.

All of them have worked as top 4 this series. Previous series' vote to save was top 3.

It's true they've also all worked as everyone with 2+ but I've never heard it stated that that was the method. Seems a bit harsh! It hadn't even occurred to me.

Why is Jim and Liz voting for Spotty Sam particularly tactical? They couldn't vote for themselves - so someone would get some votes... unless they're trying to accuse Jim and Liz of collusion in deciding to nominate Sam?

I'd have thought the way the others have voted is more tactical - because they know Jim and Liz have repeatedly got most votes, they feel it is tactically safe to vote for them also - but just didn't bank on noms being broadcast to the house.

It's a shame in hindsight that Jim didn't vote Linda... as it would've meant Linda would've seen Dappy had voted for her, and could've been quite entertaining...

Is the reason Sam has been less entertaining than watching paint dry, just due to her not having a script to work from like she's used to?

then HMs should be allowed to say"im nominating this person because i think without them here iv a better chance of winning"

BOTS regularly confirm the rule IS those with 2 or more nominations are up for eviction since the first series on Channel 5

Any vote is allowable if you stick to your guns.
If Lee's pecker hadn't have shrunk when BB said his Sam pick wasn't acceptable, they would have taken it in the end.... no pun intended
As Darnell BB9 said "It's a valid reason because it's my reason"

Evander tactically voted Ollie, and it was accepted

They can give it some vinaigrette dressing.

And still be tactical.

In Australia it is a "strategy" vote and you must have clear reasons why nominating this person is a threat to you winning BB or will increase your chances of winning, you cant use it so you will get voted out. You can also vote "under the radar" in Australia for the person you think is avoiding confrontation doesn't do anything to avoid being nominated.

Yes there was one week where you could only vote strategically and also a week in another series where the nominations was for under the radar.

If they have they must whisper it or something. I have watched every episode of BOTS without fail since it began. I have never heard anything of the kind
