I think it was intentional by the producers to show it, but I loved the irony of Luisa saying "Everybody's self obsessed apart from me because I'm actually interested in your career. It's because I always wanted to be a journalist" (cue Liz trying to say something while Luisa just carries on) "I told you that, didn't i? That I wanted to be a journalist. I told you, didn't i? I think is be good as a journalist, don't you think? Do you think I'd be good?"

No Luisa. Not self obsessed at all.

Sigh, even Liz admitted Luisa is the only person in there that has given Liz the time of day!! because she likes her as Luisa said. what's the issue with Lulu here then? what's she done so wrong that has got to you so much and gone against your ideals?

Yeah, that was one of the bits I tried to remember to comment on. Thanks for reminding.

LOL I nearly bust a gut laughing at that one, she just wouldn't shut up would she, and although Liz was saying those things back to her, that glint in her eye gave away what she was really thinking lol !

I feel like bumping this, because it was one of the key moments in the highlights where we saw housemates totally show themselves up. (See also: Ollie.) It was also a second, more subtle, funny Liz moment.

LOL - thanks for the bump! I didn't notice it at the time, but yes - it was very "enough about me - what do you think about me" wasn't it!

I will be really interested to read Liz's column about her time in the house.

I think it will make interesting reading if nothing else.

Whether it be fact or fiction, I still think it deserves a look.

I'm convinced she'll play a blinder once she is released.

That was funny!

Luisa has made me laugh more than anyone else this year.
Glad they put a comedian in there.

Louisa's trouble is that she is not even half as clever as she thinks she is. She can talk the talk but I've yet to see her walking the walk.

Oh absolutely.

I did notice when she did her reporting thing that both Lee and Linda walked off straight after she'd finished.

I don't think Linda for one, thought too highly when Liz said about Jim.......and ended with 'and I believe him.'

That didn't go down too well imo.

I can't remember exactly what she said about Lee but he wasn't best pleased I don't think.

Come on Liz give it your best shot. I would love you to stay and Sam go.

And saying it loud enough for Jim to hear!

That reporting task was a biased farce anyway, contrived by the production to reinforce their preferred narrative.

Oh I see and were you told this by production or are you assuming?

I have to agree. My turning point was Liz in the bath. I had actually liked her but she wasn't 'doing it for me' as such.

How she came across and what she was saying in the bath just did it for me. How she kept a straight face I'll never know.

When she said 'my mother might have died' (or words to that effect) coupled with 'if I had a car I'd drive into a tree' was classic.

I never realised that she had it in her to bluff so convincingly.
Did you notice that she had to splash water around her mouth to stop herself laughing?

I now see Liz Jones in a completely different light and will make a point of reading her columns from now on.

Job very well done Liz.

Job well done indeed.

Yes, she was pretty convincing of the 'oh poor me' wasn't she. If I had only just tuned in and didn't know what was going on I think I may have shed a tear or two listening to that. Or called Samaritans for the poor woman LOL!

I really hope she stays. I've nothing against Sam but she's done nothing imo to warrant more time in the house.
