I would like to see a friendship here as I think Cora and Stan could be good mates plus it would a real treat to see Ann and Timothy sharing scenes.

I couldn't give a damn who Cora befriends to be honest. She's nothing more than a background character these days.

She should not be...too good of an Actress in my mind.

Yes, but the character IMO is terrible.

And she adds nothing to the show now. Cora and Dexter need to be axed. The Brannings have Carol as a matriarchal figure, they don't need Cora.

I disagree of course but the writing for Cora under DTC has done the character no favours and I am disappointed in this.

I think they would bond I am not sure if Stan would admit to being a failure as a Father but it's clear Cora is the way she is because in her view she has failed her daughter's.
I think Stan and Cora could bond over their failings as Parents.

Agreed, Cora doesn't bring anything to the show at all now, always sticking her nose in where it's not wanted. Make me laugh the other week when she went round Dot's pretty much giving her support over Nick etc, when in the past, she's slagged off Dot in all names under the sun?! I'll be surprised if Dexter hasn't left by the end of the year.

Dexter may leave but Cora won't.

firstly, cora will be rebuilt and developed this year, I'm sure she'll have storyline in the next several months.

Stan and Cora would be a great friendship, I have a feeling they might have some history.

Agreed. I think Ann Mitchell has been wasted. I think she should have scenes with Stan and Aunt Babe. Unfortunately people become invisible as we age and the way Cora has become a background character shows this. Is Stan getting storylines because of the Carter's past? I think characters like Cora and Stan should have storylines in their own right.

Ann Mitchell is made for EastEnders...DTC will not risk axing an Actress like her.

I think Cora scenes with Aunt Babe would be epic and with Stan they would have good chemistry.

I disagree of course- some potentially good scenes could come from a Cora/Stan friendship.
