For goodness sake. There is a thread pinned at the start of the forum page called "Duplicate threads" which is clearly made for you. We all know you want a Cora and Stan friendship. Trust me we ALL know because you are embarrassingly obsessed with Cora.

Surely this could have been added to your MANY Cora threads.

I am glad that Cora and Stan are getting scenes together - this is only a good thing for both characters and for Ann and Timothy as Actors.

I hope the writers don't just give them drinking scenes. They need to bond over more than that. If Nancy and Dexter hook up then Cora and Stan will have this to bond over. I'd also like to see Stan, Aunt Babe and Cora breaking the law together to make money (in a minor way, nothing too heavy). Timothy West and Ann Mitchell can do so much more than drinking scenes.

I love Cuddly Cat's suggestion of the two of them going into some petty crime scheme together to make money, perhaps that's why Cora was written to seem so desperate last night, it'd explain a lot. To me Cora and Stan being friends is the next logical step for both of them, Cora is a background character and Stan, while amazing, needs to interact with people outside of his only family to fully settle into the square so it's a winning combination.

Last night's tease got me excited for their friendship and I hope it doesn't end there, both of them already knowing each other is a good start. Also have to admit that I chuckled because I knew exactly who wrote this post the minute I seen the title

totally agree..

Actors like West and Mitchell need to be utilized properly.

Cora should have been much bigger as a character as Ann Mitchell is so made for EastEnders growing up in Stepney and Plaistow as she did. BK said back in 2011 she was a dream booking after Babs Windsor left and Cora was due to be Peggy's replacement.

How many times does one person have to bump the same thread?

Cora will never has as much of an impact on the show as Peggy Mitchell. Using a quote from BK to illustrate a characters usefulness to EE is like Kym Marsh singing the praises of chastity belts . BK didn't understand EE at all and said the Moon Brothers would be the next Phil and Grant for goodness sake.

You cant compare Ann Mitchell and the Goon Brothers!

The Goons were dreadful because the Actors couldn't act for toffee and were cast only on their looks...

The only 'impact' that delusional, screeching bitch had on me was to piss me off for almost two decades.

Ann Mitchell is a top quality actress and should be utilised correctly.

Agreed with both of these posts. I couldn't stand Peggy Mitchell. Cora is a quality character and is played by a stellar actress.

I really liked the scene between Cora and Stan last night, Cora's vulnerable side is rarely shown but the scene last night when she was talking about Wiliam showed the Cora we rarely see.

Cora's reunion with Rainie will hopefully explore their damaged relationship a little more but Cora and Stan are a good double act.

I love Cora, not many seem to, but I genuinely do. Pairing her with Stan was a fab idea, I love their relationship. Also looking forward to an 'awkward' reunion with Rainie, Ann Mitchell needs some good material!

I totally agree, Ann is a very good Actress and maybe she is about to get the material she deserves.

Cora is a great character and always has been. She has flaws but so does everyone. I think a lot of people disliked her because they disliked Tanya. But Tanya was also a great character in my opinion as well. You have to remember places like this never speak for the majority.

Can't wait for the Rainie reunion.

I am a little concerned that DTC is trying to make Cora even more unlikeable- her fall out with the. Carter's will make the Cora haters on here even more likely to be calling for her to be axed.

I wouid like to know where Cora & Stan are heading.

I watched their scenes tonight and thought of you.

Seriously though, since Stan was introduced, it's the first time I've liked Cora since her initial introduction. With Stan, I think she can be the matriarch you've always said she could be (and that's speaking as an Ann Mitchell fan).

Kudos, Vas.

I don't think it will. It might make-her-or-break-her for the public, but I have a feeling it'll end with a huge heart to heart that'll save her character.

I thought a bad word about Cora was 'offensive' to you?

Cora has quietly become one of the most interesting characters in my opinion. She's the type of person who always puts up a front and won't let it down for anyone. I think her backstory of caring for her beloved husband and going off the rails when she realised there was nothing she could do to save him is tragic and easy to sympathise with. I'd like to find out more about her past and see her featured more regularly.
