Male Outfit: The male would be dressed in a casual looking outfit, plain black trousers and a charcoal shirt. The shirt would have a few buttons open at the top, and the long sleeves would be turned up to make them elbow length.

Female Outfit: The female's outfit would also be of a charcoal colour with a small amount of sparkle dotted randomly around the dress, it would be sleeveless with the shoulder area being of the same fabric as the main body of the dress. The skirt would not be too full, and again made of the same charcoal colour.

Connor: A great dance and a good description of the outfits. If I was being completely honest, I wasn't as keen on the song choice but I liked how it came together and the costume fitted the song. Good effort but it just needs that bit more to get your score up.

Male Outfit: The male will be wearing a orange top with a red line going diagonally down it, he will be wearing black trousers like usual, his skates will be black, he will have his hair spiked up.

Female Outfit: The female will have her hair in a ponytail, she will be wearing a red dress which reaches skirt length, her skates will be decorated with diamonds and will be blue.

Nick: The song was acceptable but the outfits just did nothing for me. The outfits lacked any excitement and felt very out of place.

Male Outfit: A shirt like this one. Except, the front will be kind of open, with laces, and it will be a deep blue colour. He will wear black trousers, and his skates will be black.

Female Outfit: Link Except, it will be deep blue. She will also have sequins along the neck of the costume in great multitude. She will also have light fabric running on both sides from her back, down both of her arms and attached at the elbow and wrist by sparkly straps. The ribbon-like fabric will also be deep blue. Her hair will be worn down, and will be dyed with blue streaks to fit with the rest of the costume.

Connor: I thought this routine worked very well as a whole and the costumes were one of the better ones this evening. However, I thought the song choice was predictable and this theme could have been used better to show us something original so I was a tad disappointed. A good effort though.

Male Outfit: The male will be wearing a dark red vest with sequins Down both side of the vest. The trousers will be a black trouser with stripes of red on each side of the trouser. The skates are a deep red skate with some crystals on each skate

Female Outfit: the female will be wearing a short dark red skater dress. It will have stripes of black running down the dress. The females skates will be a dark red skate. I have used the following colours in this dress because I feel the song has a emotional meaning to it but also a dark meaning. This is why I have chosen the dark red to show the emotional aspect of the song and the black to show the darkness of the song

Jas’: I loved the song choice, not too clichéd. The costumes could've been slightly more detailed, but other than that it was a good routine.

Song: 'Everybody Talks' by Neon Trees

Male Outfit: The male will be wearing a black lycra short shirt with very few sequins across cuffs of the arms and the neck. There will be a tint of red, which symbolises the rock element of the week. The shorts will be like the shirt - black with a bigger tint of red. This will, again, symbolise the rock element of the week and the music. The skates, however, will be different. They'll be black with flames coming out of the bottom. This will, yet again, symbolise the rock element of the week.

Female Outfit: The female will be wearing a dress cut in a flame-style at the edge. It'll too be black with a tint of red. There will be more sequins across the cuffs. However, the dress will have a layer of red, orange and yellow across the bottom where the flame-cut is. The skates will be red, as the bottom of the dress will be red as well, with a small bit of red across the tip. This will all symbolise the rock element and they match the male outfit well.

Dean: I love the song, and I loved the men’s outfit. If I am honest I didn't understand the tints of red, and I didn't like the females outfit at all.

Song: 'White Wedding' - Billy Idol

Male Outfit: The male is wearing a short-sleeved white shirt, which has the top button undone. The shirt is scruffily tucked into a pair of plain black trousers, which are decorated with a sparkly silver stripe down each leg – these stripes are jagged, to add to the ‘rock’ feel of the routine. He is also wearing an untied bowtie, which hangs over his right shoulder throughout the routine and is designed with a black-and-white striped pattern, to match the rest of the outfit. Over the top of the male’s shirt is an unbuttoned black jacket with tails, which has a sparkly silver jagged line down the middle of his back - this is removed at the beginning of the routine. The jacket is to give the impression that the male is at a wedding, but is dressed scruffily so as to represent the somewhat ‘trashy’ vibe. His skates are black with a sparkly silver jagged line down the centre of each one, hinting that they are traditional shoes for a wedding but with a ‘rock’ twist, and his hair has been puffed up and messily spiked.

Female Outfit: The female is wearing a fairly long white dress, which continues the idea that the couple are at their ‘rock’ wedding. The bodice of the dress is made almost entirely of lace, which is typical of wedding dresses – the lace is patterned in the centre of the stomach in the shape of a short jagged line, carrying through the theme. The dress is strapless, while the back is kept fairly high and is cut at the same height as the front (which is just below the shoulders). The skirt part is made of a silky, loose silver material, allowing it to waft while she skates, and is cut at different lengths for different sides – the front travels down to around the middle of the thighs, whereas the back travels down to just below the knees. Both sides are symmetrically patterned with many sequins, alternating in colour from black to white across. On her hands are a pair of silk white gloves, with a black outline to keep with the ‘gothic’ feel of the routine, while her skates are coloured a plain white to match the rest of her dress. Her hair is tied into a slightly messy bundle, which has a few neatly-placed strands hanging from it.

Izzie: ‘This was the routine of the series so far for me! Not only did you choose a brilliant rock song, that gave you so much potential for storyline and performance, but you manage to combine that with costumes that suited the feel of the song so well. It would have been easy to be clichéd with the costumes, but you made them edgy and different. Well done.’

The first 5.5 of the series and a decent set of scores again gives them not only the highest of the night so far, but the highest of the series so far with a total of 23.5

Which of course means that despite a close call, Jamie (DingDong08) & Nina join Rhian & Daniel and JJ & Katie in show 6 and will not face tonight’s public vote

Outfits: The whole performance will be based around a science experiment gone wrong to fit in with the name and general style of the song. The outfits will fit in with this. The female be wearing a dress in the style of this except the top half will be covered in green sequences with the bottom part being composed of a blue lace. The dress will be slightly ripped, have a few holes in it and black stains to connote the science experiment gone wrong, as well as the female's hair to be styled in a messy way to further connote the science experiment gone wrong. The male will initially be wearing a white lab coat that is, similarly to the dress, affected by the experiment and covered in rips, holes and stains. The male will take the lab coat off near the start of the skate to reveal a green shirt with a few sequins and a design on it, and blue trousers to mirror the female outfit. As with the female, the outfit will be affected by the experiment and be covered in holes, rips and stains and his hair will be styled to be messy in the same way the female's was.

Izzie: ‘The story you managed to tell with your costumes was fantastic, and I felt they complimented the song perfectly. I also liked how managed to get a costume change in the mix, which was explained well and suited the story. The only thing that stopped you getting my highest mark in the round was the song, which I felt was just lacking potential for ‘breaks’ and ‘tricks’. It did, however, create a good atmosphere with the costumes though.’

A great total of 18.0 out of a possible 30.0

Jas’: I'm sorry, but this isn't commonly recognised as a "rock" song and to be honest it would've been better to take a safer choice than this. If you had explained how it is used and how it relates to the genre then it would've been better. And there wasn't much detail in the Cosutmes either, it could've been slightly better had you explained the song choice or just changed the song choice completely. This was a risk choice, but it turned out as a failed attempt I'm afraid

In an unusual twist in events, DEAN is the nice judge . That gives them a total of 11.0

That means that Niall (_NiallDEE_) & Brianne have won the final duel, meaning that they are also safely through to show 6 and immune from tonight’s public vote

According to reliable fountain of knowledge Wikipedia, 'Imagine' is a rock choice.

No, seriously - to say I'm surprised with those marks is a pretty huge understatement. I'm also thrilled that the twist turned out the way it did, because Myk really deserved immunity, in my opinion.
