The Capaldi's not too bad, but those others ... what?!? They didn't even use the right costume for Smith. Is this actually real?

The Geronimo Collection was on a consumer survey. They're hilarious.

I dare anyone and I mean ANYONE to find a picture of Matt wearing a waistcoat with the tweed jacket. You can't. You just can't because he NEVER wore that combination. Which is remarkable and shows how poor these figures are detail wise. That and Capaldi is wearing the wrong waistcoat. It's like they couldn't be bothered to make a new mold!

You'd have never got this with the 5 inch figures. DW has always had fantastically well-designed action figures since the revival, but not any more. Very poor.

so are these from the usual official figure makers? if so that's pretty bad because it mean's we'll never get a proper capaldi figure

Capaldi's not bad, no more "delicate" eyebrows with Twelve!, but why is Gavin Henson dressed in Matt's costume and who the heck is the one on the right?!

There's no need for some of you to throw your toys out the pram... Maybe there is.

Also the descriptions are weird. "The other Doctor", which other Doctor? I can't tell by the likeness, cause there is none. Did I miss a memo?

The images in the promo are based on snaps taken earlier on in the development of the figures. The matt smith figure, for example, no longer has the wasitcoat in the verson on shown in london this week.

Also worth noting, these aren't due to the hit the shops until much later in the year. These are prototypes and WIP figures being shown at the London Toy Fair (an industry event aimed at selling stock to retailers).

I know this forum loves a good OUTRAGEE!!!!1 but at least be aware that what you're criticising isn't final.

That may be but based on the 3,75" figures released last year they are awful, the build quality id very poor and the likenesses are also poor. I bought my wee boy Matt and a cyberman and both fell apart quit quickly, Matt's head fell offf and the bean kept loosing legs. They are utterly horrendous. The 5" were solid

Someone on GB mentioned the Clara figure looks like it's got Steven Moffat's face, and now I can't un-see it.

Ha ha, not sure I can see that, but it certainly looks absolutely nothing like Jenna. And the Matt Smith one is dreadful too - reminds me slightly of Roger Moore but with bigger hair.

How on Earth did they set out to make a likeness of Matt and wound up with (pauses to read it once more) Roger Moore?

I know these things are just prototypes so they have something to take to the show, but jeez...
