New iPad is costing me
alycidon

I have just joined the 21st century and purchased an iPad a week ago, and I'm really alarmed at the way I seem to be eating into my 10GB allowance.

I know that I have been fiddling with some of the features such as streaming video, which caused this, but yesterday I was offered an update of a number of new apps that had to be downloaded 'en masse' as it were, and I've now had a message to say that I have now used 10.97GB - it was 8.2GB before this.

I'm not unduly bothered while I am in the 'get to know it' and 'set-up' phase, but I'll need to be careful in future.

BT is trying to encourage me to take unlimited BB [we can't get Infinity where we live], but in any case, we are on unlimited phone calls to UK landlines [anytime] and it looks as though we cannot have that with unlimited BB. Is this correct?

No, I wouldn't have thought so, they are two different things.

Unlimited broadband and anytime phone calls are two separate things, and you can have both, I have anytime calls and unlimited broadband with BT
