I think Lorraine Newman is the real proof of dreams coming true. From rags to riches she went, to becoming the most iinspring people in media

anybody...For a guy of 36 he has great vision, my only issue with him right now is that the lovely Ann Mitchell has not be given more by him but I am sure he will give her a good storyline.

Speaking as someone with tongue firmly in cheek for 90% of my posts, I commend you for committing to it

great vision? I hate to play the devil but isn't most of his big plot from things like Agatha Christie & Broadchurch and his big family a combo of other Vic power couples including Den & Angie? Anyone who has a dream and achieves it is fantastic but let's not build him too highly up. We should our heroes and dream makers.

Cora has improved fom the little we've seen of her since he took over. It's a pity she's not featured more.

My biggest issue is the fact Sharon is still being sidelined. He referred to Ian as the only original character left. A huge EastEnders fan like DTC would never make that mistake, much less a fan who cites Sharon as one of his favourites. I think Letitia has probably already thrown in the towel. Looking at it objectively, Phil is going to cheat on her with Shirley and then she's going to get revenge. When that's over and done with she has no ties left and there aren't any being built up for her during this time when she's doing very little. Certainly not the vanishing bar. I'm betting this Phil/Shirley affair and her revenge is Sharon's exit storyline.

Yes I noticed this...I guess because Letitia has had two breaks.

We need to see more of The Albert.

I hope not, I love Sharon. She's fabulous and captures the essence of 'old' EE without feeling like too much of a caricature.

When she inevitably breaks up with Phil (after her big epic revenge on him, which will secure her place as EE's first lady), I would put her with David Wicks. She needs an alpha male on the square, and he'll never stay faithful to Carol. Then I'd recast Denny (maybe send him off for a couple of years and bring him back as a teenager.)

And I agree with Vaslav, they need to make better use of The Albert. What's the point of spending all that money on the set if they never use it? We could potentially have some very memorable storylines there.

David and Sharon would be a good match.

Yes The Albert needs to be used much more.

All I can do is agree with this. David and Sharon running The Albert together wouldn't be a bad idea.

Yes, they would be fabulous together running The Albert. So long as they keep Johnny behind the bar for eye candy. And get Dean working there as well.
