I do want to see it, Tennant looks great in it, but there's so many of those superhero shows now it's a chore to keep up with them. I'm still lost halfway through Agents of Shield and Gotham.

You're still saying the exact same thing as before. I criticised you for what was blatantly-obviously not given much room to be taken as an opinion so much as something you feel is a certain truth whatever others think. You only keep referring to my statement about Tennant's precedent which not only is an obsversation but of which the only opinions given without a differentation between were clearly presented as my own thoughts anyway.

Saying you've seen stuff on Twitter doesn't prove Capaldi's Doctor is unpopular with viewers because they're wedded to the idea of a young Doctor because of Tennant and Smith. Happy if that's your opinion, but it is an opinion.

He definitely hasn't been as popular as the others because casual viewers are what makes up a lot of viewership of any show.

Sorry to disagree with you Lord Smexy on a night when we've had wonderful news about Chris Chibnall taking over the show.

But hopefully I've given you something to think about regarding your future posts.

My personal feeling is that his Doctor hasn't gelled with viewers. I'm unconvinced that's an age issue though. More that he's been written as less likeable than his predecessors.

Wonderful news to you maybe, but not to everyone. I fear that I will see what the forums look like from your side of the fence come 2018 (I'm joking, sort of, hopefully it will all be OK, eek!)

I know but fingers crossed! I think a big part of the success of Chibnall's Who will be the Doctor/companion relationship. If they can crack that, they'll be 80% the way there. And maybe the show and the Doctor will be winning those NTAs again.

There are more things like this out there, look at the poll and the comments, there is a trend.

And that was after just three episodes! I felt there was clearly an attempt this season to soften his character. Sadly a million and a half viewers had already switched off. Maybe he'll win them back in season 10!

I agree with this Doctor and Rose, and Martha and Donna were all great in their own right together I also loved The Doctor and Amy, Amy is the reason I love most of the Moffat era but that might be because we watched her grow up start to finish.
