I think the album sounds like rejected tracks from body language and X. I still prefer 90's kylie where she was more edgy .

However, I now like in to the blue which is a nice track .

But me thinks she should just settle down and have some kids . She has enough money

As cancer has killed off any chance she'll ever have of conception, what would you suggest?

It's not ALL about the money! Some artists actually enjoy the process of creating an album and touring etc. Also, why do people always say things like that about older female artists? It's like- 'you have no use in the industry at your age, why don't you just put your feet up!'.

She's already stated that she's going to have to "Seek other options".

Apparently the album was posted to sayhey (Kylie forum) yesterday and it was quickly deleted, around 4 people downloaded it, but no one knows for sure.

I'm not a member on that site but will keep an eye out

Not a dig at you, but it seems unlikely that only 4 people managed to download the album in the entirety of the Internet. They're probably attention seekers. Say Hey is infamous for having them.

I hope it hasn't leaked. Really want this to be Kylie's 6th No.1 album in the UK.
Shame Into the Blue is up against such tough competition next week, it has no chance of No.1 still hoping for a top 3 though!

What are people's opinions on the 2nd single??
There was a lot of love for Les Sex at first, but have any of the other samples caught anyone's attention?

I'm not sure. I just hope that they don't go ahead with the Enrique duet as they had originally planned.

God, me too! It's the worst song on the whole album by the sound of the previews... I'm hoping for 'I Was Gonna Cancel', 'Sexy Love' or 'Sleeping With the Enemy'

I honestly think SWTE would do well chart wise. It's very 'now' but that's just my opinion

The only songs I think I'll get round to liking is Into the Blue and Fine.

a lot of fan base tensions have resurfaced lately, which unfortunately, i have been inadvertently been dragged into. some people just cant seem to get past the fact i am a bigger fan of another singer, so i guess they assume any criticism i make is born out of some sort of misplaced loyalty, despite the fact i rarely mention the m word in kylie related threads. if i am provoked, then naturally i react, but the truth is i have been purchasing kylie's music and following kylie's career before some of her younger fans were even born.

however, this particular scenario is perhaps the most hilarious of all, because if i am correct in my thinking, the person you quoted is actually a big fan of kylie's sister dannii.
Of course you have been dragged into it, some of your comments were obvious attempts at getting a reaction, you wouldn't have written them otherwise, you probably sat back looking very smug with yourself when you got exactly what you wanted. Do people expect Kylie fans to just sit back while users like Hit Em Up Style make up nonsense about Platinum records and Wikipedia? He was the one who was criticising Lady Gaga fans for calling other singers like Madonna a flop yet he has written numerous posts diminishing Kylie's success. Most fans will stick up for their favourite singer(s) if blatant rubbish is being written about them left, right and centre. Madonna fans are some of the most defensive out there, if anyone says anything, no matter how small, they will be met by a barrage of abuse and a list of chart achievements.

I used to be really into the charts, that is until I hit puberty, grew up, got a girlfriend and realised that where a band or singer charts or how many copies of an album or single they sell has literally no importance or impact on my life. The fact that some grown adults on here are having some kind of stan war is pathetic. Kylie is nearly 30 years into her career, she isn't guaranteed a hit (same goes for Madonna), she certainly doesn't really have anything left to prove. I really like Kiss Me Once, that's all that matters to me.

On a side note, why the hell is Sleeping with the Enemy a bonus track? It should be included on the regular version, it's amazing. Kylie's b-sides and bonus tracks always seem to be great.

I've never really understood why so many fans of Kylie and Madonna hold such contempt for the other singer. Both are so similar in terms of music and style that I can't really see how a fan of one can dislike the music of the other.

I for one adore them both. Both music icons and legends imo and we should celebrate both of them for still being around!!

Jake what on earth are you even talking about? I made a mistake over Platinum sales MONTHS ago. Everyone moved on from that discussion a very long time ago. I also don't go from Kylie thread to Kylie thread slagging her off. I've never done anything of the sort as I'm a Kylie fan as my posts in the Kylie Appreciation thread on here prove so don't put my name along side any trolling. Why would you sign up to the site just to post that personal attack after all this time?

its funny how new accounts keep popping up on here just to attack me and gpk.... I've barely even been in the music forum for about six weeks! how bizarre.

Yes I posted the link in the appreciation thread. I really like most of it. Reminds me of X. I wasn't much of an Aphrodite fan so I already rate Kiss Me Once higher.

All that's missing is Timebomb. It should have been added in as a bonus.

I'm only up to Sexercise right now, but I really like it so far. Million Miles was lacking, but hey ho

Much better than Aphrodite personally. The tour was amazing, but the album didn't do it for me. I only ever liked the singles and the title track.
Million Miles and Sexercise are good

Heard the full album now and already love it!!! Her best album imo. Sounds different but also keeps the Kylie mould. Should be No.1, surely!
Early favourites: I Was Gonna Cancel, Sexy Love, Fine, Kiss Me Once, If Only, Feels So Good and Les Sex. (Pretty much the whole album, I know!)

Sincerely hope Beautiful and Sexercize are not the next singles. IMO the least enjoyable songs on the album.
