I actually had my hands up in front of my face as if to back away in that interview..

I think Wonkey makes an interesting point. The rest of the HM's did seem to get on well with her,I don't believe for a second it was because they were 'scared' of her,I know she came across as bonkers,in the extreme, but why would anyone, especially the wannabes in there with their massive egos be scared of her?
Wonkey's point maybe hard for many to contemplate, me included as what we saw of Linda made me dislike a lot.But we all know the show is in the edit.

A housemate can sometimes influence the others without being especially popular.
I am thinking of how Carole in BB8 ruled the roost, and how different she appeared in the edited version from live feed.

RE wonkeydonkey

"She WAS stitched up by the editing, and there is no doubt about that whatsoever."....

" She KNEW what they had done; every time she went into the diary room you could see that they asked her about Jim" ....

"but she was treated disgustingly by BB imo; every single moment of her being friendly and having fun was cut out because she was literally only there to make Jim look good. And it is a credit to her intelligence that she saw straight away what had been done to her and protested."

BUT these are based on your assumptions only.Have you any tangible evidence that this is correct?

She didn't really have a choice did she ......I was embarrassed for Emma as the only questions she had for Linda were about Jim. Very unimaginative and insensitive.

Carrying all that baggage must be really hard.

I felt sorry for her because such nastiness isn't normal.

Poor woman.

Emma made it all about Jim. Linda asked the questions she was asked.

You've constantly dragged out Jim's past. That is not a reasonble argument, it's no argument at all.

At which point was Emma able to get a word in edgeways? Linda was off and running from the start, I'm convinced she can talk under water.

Linda, who got on really well with every other housemate, just wasn't having it, and good for her.

Her implacable dislike for Jim did her absolutely no favours, but she was treated disgustingly by BB imo; every single moment of her being friendly and having fun was cut out because she was literally only there to make Jim look good. You can't have failed to notice how much of her best bits video was not only stuff we hadn't seen but stuff that was nothing like what we saw of her. There was nothing in her edit to explain why all the others liked her, why they called her Mama Lin, why she got so few nominations throughout. And it is a credit to her intelligence that she saw straight away what had been done to her and protested.

Why should she just lie down and die because BB had no interest in her as a person, only as a foil for Jim?”

WELL SAID! Thank you.

People here do NOT know the real Jim Davidson. Linda does. He is a nasty conniving s**t. He made sure she'd react to him over and over again, knowing that the way he'd stage-managed it all would make her look bad and gain HIM public sympathy and support. This is what he has always done! For forty freakin' years.

Like the guy if he floats your boat, sure, but don't be fooled by the editing, nor by Jim's sly machinations. His past is 100% relevant because being vicious to Linda was an ongoing part of that. He was vicious to most people in private, and played the cheeky chappie in public. The main part of his comedy routine used to be impersonating a West Indian guy he called 'Chalkie'. He laid the accent on with a trowel and said the kind of racist things - very heavy - that might well get him arrested now. His entire act was about colour, religion, thick Irish, etc - offensive stereotypes. The reason he was asked to do the show was precisely because he has a 'colourful' past! Endemol gambled on him causing endless upsets, insulting the women, pandering to 'the lads', never ever washing up nor helping any other housemate in any way, to being bossy and vindictive, and to becoming very angry whenever he was contradicted. Great TV I agree. But not so great for those, women in particular, trapped 24/7 in that house with him.

He never appears on TV now as a comedian, nor indeed as anything else. He is considered too toxic. He jumped at the chance to do CBB. In fact he agreed last year but the three sexual assault accusations - made by women who live in different parts of the UK, and who have never met - put a stop to that. He's in the CBB house in the hope of bigging up his profile and getting some work - he'll sell countless lurid tales to the newspapers. Just wait and see. He did that before and he'll do it again.

And thanks to his dishonesty and cruelty he will probably win. I truly hope not.

BTW I could better understand you all laying into Lee. He's a real piece of work! Not in the misogynistic 'Jim' manner, but in that 'a port in every girl' way.

Emma could get a word in edgeways between questions, it gave her a chance to follow up with another Jim question.

Did she really think she could go into the house slagging JD off, telling the other HM's what he was like, then not be questioned about it? As someone already said 'it has to be her way or no way.

What do you think of her changing her story as to why she dislikes Jim by the time she got onto BBOTS...On there she said he was vile to her 16 year old sister, how many years ago is that???

Some people come out of BB and show another side to their personality during the interview, and it's easy to think they had been portrayed in a certain way for the highlights....Linda came out and acted in the same obnoxious manner to Emma as she did to Jim....Horrible women.

This is what BB does, Lee goes to DR and is asked questions about Casey and vice versa.. Sam goes to DR and asked questions about Ollie and vice versa, why should Linda be treated any different, she knows how the game works as she is a BB fan.

The way I saw it Linda: " I don't want spend my interview talking about Jim" then starts bringing Jim into it again lol

And you know this how?

Why has she avoided to answer Jim when he asked on numerous ocassions why he pisses her off? if she had told him it was because of the way he treated her 16yr old sister and herself 20 yrs ago the whole FCDR would never have come up.

IMO Linda wallows in self pity and it's not nice to see, sad really!

JD manipulated everyone. He said some truly horrific things to Linda, and about her. I just listened to a stream of them on catchup. I said before I am the same age as Jim and I followed every drunken rage, the damage he did to his young first wife (deny it if you will, he busted her up many times). I remember all the newspaper reports, court appearances, offensive jokes and often worse offstage remarks. He loves to goad and insult people - women particularly. It gives him a real buzz. He doesn't do this to men. Can't imagine why not! Never men, only women. Jim's alltime favourite topic is JIM. He is also a control freak. His explosive temper has been carefully suppressed in the house, because if viewers were to witness it, they'd turn against him instantly.

Just wait till the series is over and the real truth comes out. You'll read things he said that were not broadcast. They won't be pleasant.

I am not keen on the implication that Jim Davidson is guilty despite being thoroughly investigated and cleared.

Not only did she carry on going on about Jim in her interview with Emma AFTER her questions about Jim has stopped, but on BBBOTS with Rylan where he purposefully did not ask any questions or even mention Jim, SHE and SHE ALONE kept banging on about him.

The woman is obsessed with him and needs help.

So relieved she's out of the house and got booed to shit. Horrible horrible bitter old woman. And you can't blame it on "the edits" when you could see her true and real self in the interview. She's just horrible.
