I really hope we go back to the days of BB5, and have the evictee called to the diary room during a party like Stuart. Hasn't really been done since, would shock them all!

Agreed. Throw them a party or something and play music and call the evictee to the Diary Room - playing the crowd noise will give the game away.

Oh yes I would love this to happen - they are obviously saving this trick and this CBB would be a good one to use it in.

Chicken Stu's was a classic, especially when he let go of the balloons.

That was a great eviction, it still gives me goosebumps.

The tension as Davina takes us live to the house where we see the housemates dancing and having fun.
Then the party music momentarily gets turned down so that the housemates can hear BB's voice "This is Big Brother.........would Stuart come to the diary room". Viewers are like - wtf Stuart??? As alot of people were predicting either Shell or Jason.
Stuart, in good spirits, dances to the diary room taking some balloons with him. Then he sits down, still enjoying the music, and talks about what a great time they are having.
Then BB tells him about the viewers voting for their fave to win, Stuart's like "Right? *gulp*", and that a vote count has been taken and the person with the lowest number of votes will be leaving tonight. "Stuart, YOU are that housemate. You will not be returning to the house, everyone is waiting for you, you will be evicted NOW."
Stuart: "Wooooah! *slowly lets go of the balloons*.......okay".
Then he gives a half happy half sad message to BB thanking them for the experience.
Then he kind of kills the atmosphere a bit by asking if he can go to the toilet. But BB just blanks him, there's no time for that of course.
Then BB turns off the party music in the house so that they can hear the crowd cheering and chanting Stuart's name as he leaves, sending them into a panic. They don't know whether to be devastated and shocked if he's been evicted or happy because with that crowd reaction maybe he has actually won it instead???

The sheer positivity coming from the crowd made it seem like a huge event, and although people felt bad for him, it was still a pretty momentous way to go out.
Unfortunately the copy they did of it in CBB3 with Lisa while the housemates were playing hide and seek didn't have quite the same effect as she was rather unpopular and got booed instead.

A great moment! I remember the tension waiting to see who would be called in, hope they re-do this one again in honour! One of my earliest best BB memories.

They should dress a member of the production crew up as The Grim Reaper and make them walk into the house itself and walk up to the evicted housemate with their scythe and "reap" them there and then, taking them away while saying absolutely nothing, as the remaining housemates stare in confused bewilderment.

I think the Kathreya one only worked because of her "don't take any more of my friends" disaster, other than that it was more or less like any other eviction really. For it to be completely secret, it has to be via the diary room, with no goodbyes.

I thought the one from CBB7 was also great. They dressed the housemates up in animal costumes, then they secretly booted out Nicola and put Davina in the house dressed in her costume to see how long the housemates took to notice.
It was really eerie when they started hounding poor Davina down trying to make her talk or take off her mask. lol

Haha yes that was brilliant, i laughed so much at Davina looking terrified in the little chicken outfit, with horses and all kinds of animals marching towards her! Anyone got a clip?!

They've never been particularly imaginative with these evictions, especially on the CBB series. They've always been the one generally predictable aspect. At least Sunday changes the day of the week that seemed set in stone. But they could do more.

Another idea - what if they had some sort of task today where afterwards they would need to lock housemates in the bedroom in order to remove the task equipment. During this period, the evictee would be called to the diary room, but when they reach the top of the stairs, instead of the diary room door opening, the front doors open! Imagine the shock on Casey's face.

It HAS to be like that. Everytime they try and shock the HMs by announcing it with a crowd/in studio, it doesn't have the same effect.

Give them a party (they probably will have passed the task), play music. Call the house mate to the DR and evict them

I thought it was just me who thought that was an iconic moment. It was as though he just let go of the win when he let the balloons go. It was like, "Bye Final".

Or read my other idea one above your post! Could be even more of a surprise...

It happened in CBB3 when Lisa I'Anson was called to the DR in the middle of a party
