Could anyone please shed light on something that's been bugging me lately? When I have subtitles displayed (irrespective of channel) I'm increasingly getting subtitles ahead of when they should appear - the next section of audio is fine with subtitles matching as they should - then the audio for the subtitles I got ahead of time comes around and the titles are missing (because I've already seen them). More of an annoyance than anything else. I did a factory reset hoping that anything corrupt on the drive would be dealt with but the problem persists and is getting worse.

I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean.

How is the lip sync (assuming you're not totally deaf).

I knew this would be murder to explain. The lip-synch isn't the real issue. This is the kind of scenario I'm experiencing. Imagine an on-screen dialogue between two actors. Actor A speaks and the subtitles match the words (as they should). Actor B speaks but the subtitles on-screen don't match. Actor A speaks again and subtitles match. Then Actor B again and no subtitles are displayed because I already viewed them a moment previously. In other words, they were flashed up prematurely. The subtitles I should have viewed for Actor B's first line are never shown at all! I know this sounds like so much nonsense but when it happens so frequently it does get a little annoying. By the way I am a little hard of hearing and I don't want the volume to be too loud for others hence the subtitles.
