Who did Sharon love?
In Eastenders Sharon seems to fall in love a lot, but who did she really love?
I never really bought the fact she loved Dennis, the relationship was a little twisted. I kind of think she loved Tom but wasnt in love with him. The one man I do think she actually loved was Grant, I think he was what she expected a man to be like and the relationship in many respects mimicked her parents. Or actually maybe the big love of her life was Kelvin LoL

What about Phil? There certainly seemed to be a bond between them that lasted through a hell of a lot...

Yes I think Grant was the love of her life. The affair with Phil broke that up, and then she and Phil were on and off a few times, but Grant was definitely the one. Be really interested if the Mitchell's do indeed come back.

I agree I could never believe that Dennis was her true love. I think that affair had as much to do with her feelings towards Den than being in love with Dennis.
I would say Tom or possibly Grant. |

![]() Sharon was bought up to be a bit 'above' people she'd grown up with. I'm sure Den and Angie would have loved her to settle down with a nice solicitor or bank manager. Instead she spent most of her life looking for a man just like daddy. |

I think Dennis is more of a lust thing than her being in love with him, and I think that's exactly how it was with Phil too.
I'd say that she was in love with both Tom and Grant, although perhaps Tom more so. Laura xx |

Tom, without a doubt. Grant and Dennis had flaws.

She loved Dennis. I don't care what anyone else thinks, I think she did/ Let's ask her.
Sharon, who did you love most? Oh definitely Dennis Rickman. Definitely. See. |

Grant and Tom.
Phil and Ross were always a means to an end – not being lonely. And NO I don’t think she really loved Dennis, it was either infatuation or lust – but either way it was boring (nothing to do with the incest/not incest argument). |

I think it was Grant. Phil was lust and Denis was the forbidden fruit. Tom I think she loved the idea of being his wife rather than him and it would all have ended in tears. I hope when she comes back they make her a strong character again and not someone who just wears THAT JACKET and tosses her hair extensions around and wobbles her bottom lip.

I'd say Grant was probably 'the one' for Sharon but he pushed her too far.

![]() It's often said that girls go for blokes who remind them of their fathers (and I totally see where they are coming from looking at a couple of my relationships!) so Dennis being Den's biological son is a perfect example of someone she might well be very interested in. Adding to that, as Goldilocks said, it was looked upon as forbidden - what do you do when you have strong feelings about something you're not supposed to? It makes you more keen to go ahead with it. |
