Don't see anything wrong with what she said tbh. Not everyone is out to make new friends everywhere they go. I find the more people you have in your life the messier it becomes. Besides at some stage in your life there comes a time you stop making proper friends. You might becomes acquaintances with some people but not enough to call them proper friends which is what I'd say happens with most HMs
