Also, Linda is now using that incident to try and excuse her hatred of Jim. Since leaving the house she is trying to suggest that's where the problems started. Anyone who actually watched the show knows that isn't the case. The issues she had with Jim started long before that incident. She had numerous malicious attacks on Jim before that incident. That led to the housemates asking Jim why she hates him so much, and Jim then offering Frank Carson's dressing room as a possible explanation.

Linda felt Jim was an easy target because of his reputation in some quarters and she fully expected the public to be on her side. She underestimated the public. It was a big shock to her to come out to boos and what we see now is her desperately trying to re-write what actually took place in the house.

She is trying to paint herself as come of victim and is using her dead husband to promote that. She's now even bringing self harm into it to further her victim agenda. There is nothing this woman won't stoop to.

Here is an example of ....the tea towel horror. @ about 3 minutes

Linda: "You again?"
Jim: "Sorry darling, I've been doing the washing up. What do you expect me to do, it was the only thing we had."
Linda: "Is there no more?"
Jim: "One more"
Linda: "Oh bless you. I'll see if there's any in that bathroom"

Jim waits here for Linda to leave the room. She goes into the bathroom to fetch another towel, then Jim starts the poor, poor Jim routine.

Jim : "I got the tea towel wet cause I've washed up all the pots and pans and plates. What a bad boy am I"”

Linda was picking on Jim constantly in there. We saw it.

She rolled her eyes every time Jim spoke. When he was speaking to Liz about his horrendous year he had, Linda sat there sour faced and rolling her eye's yet again. Could you put up with that sort of treatment day in and day out with no escape? I know I couldn't.

Correct.

Jim was walking on egg shells when that woman was present. She was constantly picking away at him. A perfect example was when he asked Luisa if she missed having a man around the house (a perfectly reasonable question to ask) and the next thing Linda is trying to paint him as some type of male chauvinist monster. She knew exactly what she was doing. She knew Jim's reputation in some quarters and was determined to use that against him.

It's amazing how much the atmosphere has changed in the house since Linda left. It's like a big weight has been lifted off everyone's shoulders.

Linda's bitter, can't let go of the past and has a huge chip on her shoulder. Oh yes and her plan back-fired, with the public rooting for Jim now more than ever ... !
