Blank screen when first viewing internet channel recording
Hi when I try to view an internet channel recording for the first time I get a blank screen. I then press the back button and it returns me to normal viewing. When I try again to view this same internet channel recording, it works OK. Strange.

Nope don't have the problem you describe here. But I do sometimes get a blank screen for a second when switching to a live internet channel or occasionally playing back a recording from an internet channel. But it sorts itself out without having to do anything in my case.

Yes I have this problem. Only noticed for the first time last week.
Also the fast forward/seek screws up if you watch the programme while it's still recording. |

the reason is because the box checks for the correct subscription via the broadband when watching (or attempting to watch) a recorded programme from a broadband channel.
best way to explain is unplug your broadband connector from the back of the box, then using your remote go to see you MyView page. when selecting a recorded internet programme you will not be able to view it because of boxes inability to check whether you have the sub to watch it. |
