seen a nice side to Dappy lately, he asked Lee all the right questions about Casey and Jasmine to Lee, he was very protective about Casey being hurt by Lee and what Lee's doing to her.

AND in the recent VT of Casey crying after her mum went into the house, there's Dappy giving her a hug and looking very concerned.

I think he's got a good heart.

They all have a good heart apart form Jim.

I have always said Dappy is a great guy and this just proves it all the footage is about him being a caring guy and he is real and being himself

Dappy was very very astute talking to Lee, he wasn't afraid to tell Lee what he thought, he was very tactful about it

Dappy's playing a great game ingratiating himself with all the HMs. Try nominating him face-to-face, though, and see what happens.

Ollie Sam Linda - they all don't like being up, its criticism they can't take it - BUT I've really changed my mind for the better since Dappy went into the House and he's just got this bravado image, and when he drops all that gangsta outfit and gansta speak he's a nutty puppy really. He means well. Wouldn't mind him winning over Jim and Ollie

I totally agree with the OP. I thought I'd hate Dappy (not exactly his demographic being in my 40's and not liking his kind of music) but I think he's a lovely lad. I hate all that daft gangsta crap and wearing his pants down his arse but once you see past that you see (on the whole) a nice, caring, quite sensitive lad. I'm very surprised and won't be so quick to judge a book by it's cover in future.

Just read his wiki page. Not sure why Jim is condemned and Dappy not, Dappy's past (which is more recent) is far worse than Jim's. Dappy is putting on a nice guy act to help him out with his sentencing in Feb.

I could be wrong but I think Dappy adopted the gangsta image at the start of his music career and now feels he has to keep it up despite it not being who he really is anymore.

He's a funny little thinkg but it definitely seems that his heart is in the right place and he just needs to find who is the real Dappy

I think he's a contradictive bore. Far from having a good heart he doesn't mind upsetting someone then going back to them to say "sorry" thinking it resolves himself. All but called Luisa a whore but is quite happy to dry hump her and play with her tits in the bath. Without doubt my least favourite housemate.

He does seem a very caring chap...

Dappy didn't call her a whore....but he said he thought it was wrong ...when she told the house she didn't think there was anything wrong with sleeping with 5 guys in one night (which she said she had done) so I think Dappy had a point there (understatement) !

As for their antics together...more fool her for letting him then ! take away the highly sexed nonsense, he's been quite sweet to the HMs lately and more likeable

I agree but the point is he's supposed to be caring about other HM's when he's far from it, eg nominating his mamma Linda for calling him lazy then apologised to her rather than nominating who he wanted. He's done it throughout the show. He takes everything personal and looks for revenge if someone crosses him.

That's Dappy. Sweet, sensitive caring guy. He has a good heart. In Liz article she barely had a good word to say about anyone but described Dappy as a gentleman. Everyone who knows him says he's being himself. Away from the bravado he's just a down to earth nice guy. Once people lose the dislike for him you see he's actually pretty funny.

I said all but his words were along the lines of. You know what they call a girl who sleeps with five men in one night. He really went off on one that night and it still bothers him as shown in his nom for Lou about bringing up his mum.

Jim gets stick for perceived sexist views yet Dappy thrusts at Luisa, tells her 'While you're down there' calls women all sorts of names for doing things he would brag about doing and he's called caring.

insult someones mother and you get what you deserve- that was wayyyy OTT and unnecessary of Luisa.
