At the end of 2013 BT put a number of new channels to the service like HD movies and kids , but BT changed packets / groups.

Youview also had updates to software to allow recording internet channels, but if you have broadband has not dropped out at the recording time....

Channels I would see....

Sky One
Sky Living
CNN ( US feed )
TCM HD
EDEN
Horror

Basic Sky channels would be nice, but they would probably charge extra for these.

A good selling point would be if BT TV offered the HD feeds of SD Freeview channels (Dave, C5, ITV2 etc) as part of the £3 HD fee.

I'd like to see the Box Televison and CSC music channels, which are already free to air on Satellite, as well as maybe a few of the MTV ones.

Why not simply become a Sky subscriber?

This whole Youview becoming a pay TV platform leaves me baffled. When I had subscription TV I had Sky, (or Virgin might have been an option).

When I dropped subscription TV I joined Freesat and Freeview. This halfway house Youview IPTV I simply don't get. It's like being a little bit pregnant, you either are or you aren't.

Is CNBC on it? If not it should be.

Another vote for Press TV
Plus : TV5 Monde; Euronews; and more radio options - eg a radio 'app' like TuneIn Radio

Can live without the basic Sky channels. For I think if BT add the basic Sky channels the price a month will go up,
Would like the two Eurosport channels to be added to the HD extra pack.
The main MTV channel has gone downhill for they hardly play any music videos anymore.
Cant see the Tune In radio app coming to Youview but its a great app. I got It on my phone and tablet as well as my Samsung smart TV in my bedroom and I use most weekends if im in to listen to 3FM from the Isle Of Man or country music from the USA.

From Freesat (and still subscription free):

Horror TV
Vintage TV
Kerrang TV
CBS Action
CBS Drama

Could then ditch my freesat box and stick with my YouView PVR.

Plus add Netflix, Blinkbox and Lovefilm to on-demand.

Something original.

There is such little difference between all the available platforms.

I suggest things such as:
-NASA TV (and ESA TV).
-Red Bull Extreme Sports channel, like they had available as an on-demand channel until BT Sport took over the rights. Even keep it as an on-demand channel, in my opinion that is the reason for IPTV - not sticking to rigid schedules but being able to chose "on-demand" ?!?!
-Other online only sports channels, such as Boardriders TV, Watercross Channel, and Sail TV.
-News channels such as BBC Arabic News and Sky News Arabia, plus Euronews in every available language.
-The on-demand 'channels' in the EPG alongside the linear channels.
-On-demand fitness, learn a language, cookery, and hobby channels like a DVD.
-BBC Connected Red Button.

None of these additions on their own would make much of a difference, but if all of them were implemented then I think a significant number of people might want them.

Would like to see Drama being added to the UK TV on demand and more Channels in HD. Also maybe the rest of the UK TV ones.

The Horror Channel and MGM HD would make me very happy.
