IN the bathroom Lee told Luisa about his dilemma with Casey and Jasmine and LUISA SAID:

I think it's funny

Jim did NOT at any time enjoy the HMs being UPSET
utter nonsense

I award this the most pathetic thread of the week - and there have been some crap threads.

I mean, yes, Jim is not everyones cup of tea, but a little more balanced opinions would be lovely, thanks.

To put a positive spin on this thread, you could say that Jim is not afraid to comfort people when they are upset.

It's a no win situation, because if he were ignoring people who are upset then he would be lacking in sensitivity. Ridiculous.

By all means have an opinion, but I prefer balanced ones, rather than those that seek to character assassinate in order to suit an agenda.”

It can be difficult to read a balanced and unbiased opinion on these forums sometimes. You get the extremists on both ends. Those who are far to negative and highlight HM's in a bad light every minute of the day, almost trolling. Then you get those who are to biased to see any faults with their chosen HM and while defending their chosen HM they put other HM's down in the process...which is basically what their issue was in the first place It's the way of the forums. Does make it frustrating at times though.

Yeah, a joke, exactly that.

He is a comedian, after all.

Completely agree. I'm not saying he loves it necessarily, but he does seem to 'come alive' when it's hitting the fan.

It's not a lie to say that more than a few times he's gone into a strop for no apparent reason when everyone else is on the up.

For example, when they had party food on the table and he took one look and sulked off.

I saw it like you did OP.

I never thought that when I'm giving comfort and support to friends, when they're down that I was feeding off their negativity!

Everyone tells jokes. Just because it was a 'job' for him doesn't make it any less inappropriate. You can't have it both ways, he's either working or being natural. I don't care what a person is, It's weird.

Me too, I think he's been a far better parent figure than MummaLin, all she did was witter on to them about how awful Jim was. Jim, on the other hand, has helped them out with their problems, he's cooked for them, watched out for them when they got too drunk and made sure they are laying in a position where they won't choke if they're sick in bed and he's told them straight if he thinks they're in the wrong about something. He's just got on with stuff, even when he wasn't allowed to open his mouth without someone jumping straight down his throat. It's been lovely to see the house this weekend where (apart from Jasmine's visit) they've all been having fun and got along really well together. I think he's been a damned good HM, the best out of the older ones for sure, Lionel was too obsessed with Lionel, Evander had no idea what was going on half the time and Linda was too obsessed with her hate for Jim. So, Jim for the win for me with Dappy Olly and maybe Luisa in the mix for 2nd, 3rd and 4th, Sam was non existent and Casey bored me with the Lee thing.

That's good to know, but the OP was about Jim, not you.

Can someone shake Lee Ryan and explain to him that kissing, stroking and making suggestive comments to a girl tends to lead them to think there might be something happening, jesus he's thick a s a brick. I can handle all their shi* but what I can't handle is their COMPLETE inability to discuss things with any realistic emphasis.

If Lee says "I haven't been leading Casey on" once more I may explode.”

Sio he shows compassion and it's wron Jim to win

My point is, a father figure would not make a reference to having sex with their child figure, it's vile

He just has to be there for camera time. The lads were discussing Lee & Casey & he tried to interject but they were mid flow so he went in search of the girls who were in the toilet consoling Casey. He knocked on the door and asked to go in??

When Luisa was consoling Casey, up he pops again and interrupts to take Casey away mumbling something to Luisa in a dismissive tone.

Next when the clock strikes he's in the bedroom but has to earwig at the door and eventually peek out.

Not a show without Punch!

Some do though. While I wouldn't say Jim thrives on people being unhappy, I haven't really witnessed that myself. He WAS sure to include snide digs towards Jasmine, which I think is his personality. Some would say that was just words to comfort Casey at the time, but I think they was probably words he wanted to say and probably meant.

I half agree with you. I think it's a bit harsh though.

For example when Ollie & Dappy were trying to talk sense into Lee. Jim was only interested in being the conductor of the whole conversation. He tried 3 times to take it over and once he couldn't he walked off and went to the girls & took their convo over instead. He does need certain things like that which could be annoying i guess.

Inappropriate if she was a nun, maybe.

She's a 'glamour model'. I'm sure she's seen and heard far worse than Jim messing about, joking about undoing a zip.
