I think Jim should win CBB this season.
He's thrown himself into everything and fully engaged with everyone in the house. He has spoken his mind and told some uncomfortable home truths to people without worrying that they might then hate him and nominate him (unlike cowardly Ollie).
He has been genuinely funny in a number of ways; with his morbid sense of humour, laddish mucking about and one-liners (Lee: I wear my heart on my sleeve / Jim: Good job you got two sleeves)
He has been the target of a relentless and open campaign to 'get him to crack' by Linda Nolan and her acolytes. And he didn't crack. He stood his ground and when it threatened to escalate, he stayed calm and walked away.
He has provided much needed comfort to people who were hurt and upset, putting aside his feuds with Jasmine to comfort her and tell her that Liz didn't mean her suicide comment. He has always engaged with housemates, even those that have stated that they hate him like Luisa, Linda and Jasmine. He is always willing to give them a chance, when the dust of an argument settles. He has apologised when he has been in the wrong and gone too far. He's had his apologies thrown in his face.
He's shown great loyalty to those that like him; Dappy, Casey, Lee, Ollie (even those of them that nominated him).
He has kept his dignity, been an old-fashioned gentleman, remained true to himself and allowed others to show themselves up for the two-faced liars that they are. One of my favourite moments was Jim listening to Lionel Blair professing his love for him. Jim just kindly indulged him, while in his eyes you could tell he knew Lionel was just trying to get in with him and he didn't believe a word.
Jim is a flawed character; spiky, sometimes grumpy, thin-skinned, proud and quick to temper. He's a bit bewildered by the world today, by the outright rudeness of young people, by the immature sexual showing off that women like Luisa engage in. But his heart is in the right place. And if you wanted someone by your side in a tricky situation, someone to give you advice, or someone to have a pint and a laugh in the pub with, you'd want Jim.
Jim to win.
