I think he would appreciate a bunch of people all happy to laugh with him and at ourselves ...

Me too! Can't understand how anyone doesn't like either of them, but each to their own! One of my favourites at the moment is Alan Carr. I would love to meet him, I just love the sneery withering look he gives to the audience, it cracks me up every time!

Yup........have Alan's DVD's. Watch Chatty Man too.

I describe Alan as all girly and squirmy LOL! (not in a derogatory way).

He just goes all silly LOL!

I shall cling onto Jenna's crutch and guard it with my life. Never fear on that one.

LOL! I love David Walliams too. But one scene which will always remain in my mind as I laughed probably too much really, was when Dr. Chriss Jessen was his guest on Chatty Man talking about STDs, and admitted to having had one when he was younger and Alan witheringly looked at the audience and then proclaims very loudly "You dirty bastard!" I am still laughing at it now as I think of it. It's all in the delivery of course.

I bought tickets for my parents to see Ken Dodd. They didn't get home till about 1am. The show started at 7pm

They loved every minute and he is very funny. I hope to see Ken and Jim this year.

Poor old River57,
why don't you all hire electric wheelchairs, then you could make a day of it and have wheelchair races.
Perhaps you could ask Jim to be the starter, hehehe

I like your way of thinking Janet, it's an idea with merit.

I wonder if I can get one with go faster stripes? I could get my husband to soup it up a bit and put those blades like they had on the chariots sticking out of the wheels. Knock off any opposition.....I don't trust Betty to play fair LOL!

it's amazing what they can do to the electrics, some even have seats for two people. You can also get some that go 8 mph, get one of those.

Oh, I will get the 8mph one. But don't tell the others.

I need to go faster than Jenna at the very least. I can't run the risk of her trying to poke me with her crutch LOL!

Wonder if I could get a trebuchet fitted. That may work in my favour
