That's hardly news is it?

We swallow insects in our sleep anyway. I'm far more repulsed by milk.

I don't know whether it is or not but incase you're right, for the record, I used to ride bikes a lot and I've swallowed insects quite afew times. It bothers me less than the fact that, rather than no level of infection in dairy cows being allowed, the level allowed is above that of significant infection. There's also the fact that, unlike the insects, milk is completely avoidable.

The EU limit is anything over 400,000 is unfit for human consumption. Also I think the tests are down prior to pasteurization.

And if you do some more searches (not that many actually, was on main page) you can find info that UK herds in 2013, out of the 500 herds, the median average somatic cell count has improved from 210,000/ml to 195,000/ml.

But bored playing the "find the info game"

You don't like milk, lots of others do. Live and let live I say.

Now I fancy a glass of milk...

As I said, its avoidable. If it was something I needed then I might make an exception but you can get all the calcium and vitamins you need without it.

Yeah, there wasn't a lot of 'science' going on in that program. Lol.

And the bit where an actual scientist was trying to explain things, they talked over her anyway. Waste of time that was.

When it comes to milk, I can't stomach anything but full fat milk.

I think it depends on taste, I can't tell the difference, so its an easy place to skip the calories, even if it means having a fatty poor diet elsewhere.
