Sunflower Oil
I have been buying Sunflower oil at Tesco when it is on offer at 2 5 Litre bottles for £10 - so £1 a litre.
Recently 99p Stores and Poundland introduced KTC Sunflower oil at 99p/£1 a Litre bottle. These are easier to manage than the large 5 Litre bottles so I bought a couple of 6 packs. Watch out as the "Vegetable Oil" labels on the plastic bottles look similar to "Sunflower oil" labels. Best value Olive oil tips welcome. |

I usually buy a 2L can of Extra Virgin in Sainsburys but use it for cooking.
I recently bought rapeseed oil that, without noticing, was infused with lemon. It was a gorgeous aroma and perfect for risotto. I don't know where I bought it

I stopped cooking with Sunflower Oil years ago and now exclusively buy Groundnut Oil from Asda because of its high temp properties and also it has no taste. I dislike the taste of Olive Oil so never buy it, but watch out for Extra Virgin labels as it can be a lie, especially on cheaper brands.
