Does it matter? I'm sure she is still a fan of the show. She is busier than she's ever been, it's understandable

She was presenting Big Brother when it was getting 10 million viewers. It is only a shadow of what is was and probably won't be on for too many more years. Don't think she is bothered. Big Brother will always be associated with Davina and be her baby. Emma and Brian are just second rate replacements. I can see what she means.

Big brother never got 10 million nightly. BB is still exceptionally popular after 14 years on air so Channel 5 can be very proud. Davina has to be slightly peeved if is now rating better than the final series on Channel 4. In my heart she probably still considers it " her show"...

I think Emma is doing a good job. I would be surprised if Davina was jealous, though it might be hard for her to watch it without thinking what she would have done differently. It could well be true that she doesn't have the time. I am not a big celeb, I live on my own, work part time, have a dog and don't get invited to parties and even I don't always find the time to watch it!

That might be slightly true. They had that big BB funeral and the rather tragic 'ultimate', and saw it creep back onto Ch 5 with modest viewing figures, a terrible spin off show and an awkward new presenter. Then saw its viewing figures go up, the spin off show improve a lot and a second new presenter doing sweeter, younger version of what she had been doing in the past.

This. I'll never forget how she treated Makosi yet let Anthony slide. She was a bigger sexist than Jim.

Judging by the 10 mins or so I managed to watch of The Jump before turning over she has hardly gone on to bigger and better things.

She's jealous cause Emma is doing a better job than her, Davinas new show the jump is a complete disaster according to the red tops today

She probably misses the show when she watches it so she can't watch it. It's reminding her of what she used to do.
Does Brian Dowling still watch the show?

Davina is miles better than Emma. She has fronted shows and made them her own. Please tell me which new shows that Emma has launched and successfully drawn in an audience. She has worked on shows that she has inherited. All her other shows have been flops. The Voice, This Morning and Big Brother all had a good a good audience before she joined. Davina has led out on Big Brother, Million Pound Drop, and the Jump. She takes chances on new shows and is an excellent host on Live shows. I still find Emma to be a giggling amateur in comparison to the master Davina

Aye...and she`s missed ! She was a damn good presenter ..much better than Emma.

Just saw her on the Jump. She looks great. She really made Big Brother an iconic show. I don't know what age she was when she became the main presenter but she was just natural from the beginning. Real fans of the show should appreciate that

Davina wasn't exactly popular with the BB audience. She can seethe with jealousy while The Jump flops in the ratings.

So anyone who disagrees with you isn't a 'real' fan?

I think it's also important to remember that she's training for a 500 mile triathlon for Sport Relief so I doubt her first thought is sitting down to watch Big Brother, as well as doing The Jump.

Would she still be doing Big Brother is Channel 5 signed the contract quicker? I believe she would. She said she spent a long time saying goodbye to the show, I doubt she's jealous of Emma who she has championed since before the show debuted on 5

Except its not flopping. It actually held up quite well in the ratings last night despite not being a great show. Big Brother has its ups and downs too. Ratings depend on the contestants, not the presenters(unless they are Ant and Dec)
