JJ, you've been a bit in the middle, you're performance today wasn't as high standard as the others.

Myk, you've produced some great routines and the competition is to the find the best skater.

So I am saving Myk & Alexandra

OK, it's no surprise that both of you find yourself in the skate-off. However, this is a tough decision because JJ has always been in the middle of the road on the leaderboard while Myk has had a high level percentage of performances but tonight he really let himself down. But, we're at Week 7 of the competition and the theme and details of the skate should be kept too and mistakes are costly at this stage and I have to judge this on the skate-off. So, the couple I am saving is JJ and Katie

This is the toughest decision this series no doubt about it.

JJ, you have been middle of the road most of the way through the series, and you have time and time again had chances to improve and show the judges why we should give you better marks.

Myk, one of our strongest competitors this series. Consistantly in the top 2, tonight was bad. Actually worse than bad. The rules weren't followed and tonight you have suffered being in the bottom 2.

My judging has to be consistant. Last week I docked points for someone putting in lots of effort but didn't adhere to the rules.

That being said, I have no choice but to save JJ & Katie. I am so sorry Myk & Alexandra.

So we are saying goodbye tonight to Myk (ChickenFromKiev) & Alexandra

Well I wasn't expecting this tonight. But as Connor said, mistakes can be costly at this stage

But you presented some of the best performances this series which you can be very proud of. Thank you for being a part of the series. MYK & ALEXANDRA everyone

In the next round you are fighting for a place in the Semi-Finals And when I say fight, I mean it

Round 8 is “Sabotage Round”

For this you will all be required as always to choose a song choice and outfits. But you won’t be choosing for yourself, you’ll be choosing for one of your fellow contestants

Your job is to sabotage their routine by trying to make it as awful as possible so they get the worst score imaginable from the judges. As it is a sabotage round, the judges will even be able to score it ZERO

You will be told via PM which couple you are sabotaging I need your routines by 2pm on Thursday so judges have time to mark in time for Friday’s show please

I'm afraid that, as much as I've been impressed with Myk prior to this round, I would have had to have saved JJ as he did send a choice for this round, whereas Myk didn't. It's a shame Myk, because you were doing so well.

Fair enough. While of course I'm sad to be eliminated, I fully understand the judges' decision and to be honest, I would've felt bad if JJ had been eliminated over me. Thanks to Ash for running this great game, thanks to the judges for not being too harsh on me during my first game over on the Dancing on Ice forum - and my second in general. I never expected to get to the final six, and if I'd concentrated this week, who knows where I'd have gone?

Anyway, I'm rambling now, so good luck to Niall, Jamie, JJ, Mitch and Rhian

By the way, I'm gutted to have missed sabotage round, as in the first few seconds of seeing that, I came up with three ideas

Also, not that I'm making excuses at all, but it wasn't a lack of time overall that prevented me from sending in a choice, it was simply bad timing for me and I had planned to send in a choice across the weekend and things got in the way. It was just bad timing for me, and as I said, I'm not making excuses

Commiserations, Myk! I feel so bad for you because you've done so well this series and one bad round has unfortunately let you down.

A very well done to JJ though, and good luck to everyone else for the next round - Sabotage Round should hopefully mix things up a little.

Sabotage round is always a laugh to mark. I don't know whether to wish you all good luck or not this week.

Commiserations Myk I think that if you had submitted a a costume this week you would've probably got through considering your fairly high standards throughout the series so far, it was a shame to see you go but at least you have had some good routines in this competition

A good round but I have to say I was slightly disappointed in some, especially one which I had to give quite a high mark because I didn't feel it was really 'that' sabotaged but you all had a go and a couple had a lot of effort put into them which made me laugh. I didn't give a 0 either.
