Afternoon, beautiful day here ,just finishing some more lawns as the forecast is looking bleak for the next week.
Finally booked daughter's ticket to Australia, a very stressful process that took hours. Next will be sorting the visa's.
Wesley is impressed with his new lawn, had to have a big inspection and roll about but the verdict was good.

Didn't get dinner until 9pm so its on tape, can't wait to see it.
Afternoon on this wet and windy saturday.
Trying to cook using the top oven as the element has gone in the main one, its really slow and tends to burn stuff so I'm on oven watch.
Doing my research into which oven to buy, its really tricky I find one that A fits and B looks ok then read the reviews and dismiss as a waste of money.
Looks like you do get what you pay in ovens. plus the £90 to fit it and remove the old one !

Heavy rain here this morning then it turned into a beautiful day, getting chilly now though.

I have to remember he is just an actor, its not real life or death.
Watching x-factor that I taped so I can fast forward through all the drivel, they are not good, I'm sure with the studio and special effects they will look good at live shows, Simon really coped a bad bunch .

Been sorting out the pigs, they needed their water trough cleaning , little cat helped even going in the pen.
Now to start the Ironing mountain before cooking a roast in the little oven.

I occasionally watch Dynamo he is amazing but totally baffling.
This weather is the pits.
Waited an hour for the rain to ease up, no change so kitted up in raincoat hat ,gloves and boots tackled the elements to feed the pigs and put the bin out. Had to strip completely as the water got in everywhere.

Just watched The Amazing Race, they came to London England...so funny how they say it, they made it look spectacular and I loved the tasks, like we all do the changing of the guard and pancake races.
The punting was mad, the girl peeing over the side next to a punt full of posh boys!
