Someone has posted on the DS news item about Babe's secret that Angela Douglas will be playing Sylvie. For those of you who aren't familar with that name, she's a reasonably well-known actress who did a number of Carry On films back in the '60s amongst other things, so a decent bit of casting if true.

I just read the post and it says Sylvie doesn't turn up till Christmas so how on earth would they know the casting so early?

Has anyone seen Dolores Claiborne with Kathy Bates? Her and Judy Parfitt are amazing in that. Probably my favourite film adaptation of a Stephen King novel.
Susan Penhaligon - age-wise, could just swing it, I think, if she didn't glam up too much. Or Susan Hampshire.
I'm sure Sylvia has already been cast, Kireston Waring said she knew she was joining EE back in the summer before she first appeared at Christmas. Would be great if they managed to get a good name to play her, the fact we are getting so much intrigue and build up to her character makes me think its gonna be a name worth waiting for.
