CMC powder

I recently bought some CMC powder AKA Tylose.
The thing is, I don't know how to use it !
I think I can use it to firm up fondant for cupcake toppers.
How much powder to fondant should I use ?
Do I have to leave it overnight or can I use it straight away ?

add about a teaspoon to 250gs of fondadnt and kneed it in. You will find the fondant starts to crumble a bit or fall apart, that's fine, just keep kneeding and then it will all come together again. You can use it straight away
