Humax 1010s streaming TO pc/mac?
Is it possible to stream to a PC/MAC?
Streaming from is no problem...works great via wifi. Also, I can't seem to find the youtube app (upgraded the firmware and installed the portal thing) Thanks! |

The G2 boxes currently don't have a server capability. Youtube should be available in the On Demand menu. The apps are available for tablet devices (ios/android). Once installed on a suitable device you can instantly transfer any content you choose to the G2 device and its connected TV by simply clicking on the TV icon and selecting the displayed device ID.

Thanks Graham! long time no see.
Well the 1010s seems to be working nicely as a media server etc.... but, shows only 1 cable attached whereas there are 2 (and tested individually). I see that it has been a known problem since December at least, according to Amazon reviews. Do you happen to know if it is just the indication of signal input is wrong? or does it actually not recognise the twin cables and therefore not record multiple channels simultaneously? |

Media PLAYER I meant, not server. However, I see there is an app in the store (ipad) that purports to turn the humax into a server....but it doesn't work (maybe for different models)
