Suzanne's headbanger was the best ever seen on DOI
Professionals aside of course
![]() Absolutely spectacular to go from that spinning move into a headbanger which she actually landed herself! She made tonight what has become a tired move into something with wow factor again. It doesn't matter that she fell as her routine was sensational. Not that Bonnie deserved to be in the skate off whereas Sam did and yet he was better than her in that so I can't argue too much with the overall result tonight apart from putting Gareth through. But Suzanne deserves a lot of credit for that move tonight and her fall was barely relevant in her routine |

I agree, the headbanger was amazing and required skill where as some of the others in the past where the female starts from lying on the ice and ends up lying on the ice don't. I thought at one point she was about to hit the ice.

A shame the fall did take the focus away from her landing it properly. I'm still a little bored of it though.

Kyran's jump which was the first suggestion of his skills also went unremarked. it seems a bit random what element does get commented on. Beth got credit last week for a lift, but nothing tonight for doing one that looked as good. Both were professional lifts as seen as the olympics - but only one was called such, and so are many of the lifts. Bonnie actually did some spectacular moves , sharper than they have been done this series, in her own routine too. Hayley also put in a better lift than most she has done last week, and, again, no one seemed to notice. |

So utterly sick of the headbanger. I wouldn't have cared if she did it blindfolded.

Headbanger is boring.
And stupid. And dangerous. |

The twisting was good though. Don't think she did that before. Shame she fell. Definately took the shine out of that amazing head banger.

Yes she did in the final the last time when they did music they added that exact same move. The only question I had was if they were in the skate off which version of music would they do?

It was impressive but – for me – completely joyless to watch. I want to enjoy the grace and beauty of the contestants' movements across the ice; not to sit watching through my fingers, wondering if some poor woman's brains are going to be spread across the rink by the end of the dance.
Full marks for courage, though. |

The headbanger is the same as the final version. The exit was completely new.

I agree Suzanne's headbanger is probably the best, but it's becoming tiresome now. How many times has she done it? It seems to be in most of her routines and is samey.

Yep, yep and yep.
Glad I'm not the only one. I swear my heart is in my mouth anytime it's done 😱 |

I really liked it, but I do agree that I'm bored with the headbanger.
Suzanne's was good because it did add something to the routine and she skated into and out of it. I just don't like it when it's done for effect, or because it's dangerous. I'm particularly against the male celebs doing it. When Kyran included it in his save me skate, it didn't fit with the routine or music at all. There's nothing wrong with a float spin, and a bit more emphasis on the entry and exit please. |

Her single death-spiral was so much more interesting and even difficult than all her headbangers put together.
