Seems from Hayley's Twitter that her and Dan are skating to a Sam Bailey track tonight and it is the one they choreographed themselves too so not just Ray doing that! Guess Kyran might do the same. So both Hayley and Ray doing slow routines they have choreographed themselves.
If Hayley is doing Skyscraper - will Dan lift her up when it comes to singing the word 'Skyscraper'

Ray tweeted this:

Even odder? So half of them will be skating something they worked up 2 weeks ago, and half will be skating something they have had to work up this week? And either half will be skating something by T and D and half their own choregraphy, or the losers in the duel will be writing their own new choregraphy this week, trying to find something different to last time, and learning it too.

They may have had to do something different with T and D off to Sarajevo, but thats simply bizarre.

Just watched last nights Dancing on Ice.
Ray fabulous again!
He is an amazing ice dancer - and he and Maria are a great partnership. How anyone can say they dont "dance together" is beyond me. They are so similar to Torville and Dean in style and if you watched their dance last night - lots of it is apart - and lots together - but the connection between them is always there - just like Ray and Maria.
I wasnt overly keen on any of the 80's routines...and some of the wigs were ridiculous....
Ray to win!
Uhm...because they don't.
He's definitely the strongest skater remaining but there is zero connection between him and Maria. All of his routines are the same just to different music every week. It's always just trick after trick, side-by-side like "look what I can do" and "I can do this too! aren't I amazing?".

Yet Maria herself said last week Ray is the dance partner she never had

Ray is the best technical skater and if this was a solo performance competition he should walk it.

However this is a dance show and he doesn't really dance with Maria. He skates like it's all about him and she's just an extra.

Ice dancing is all about the man making his female partner look good but his performances are more about him showing off with no real connection with Maria.

When I watch him it's like he's just showing off some tricks on his own rather than dancing with a partner and that's my problem with him in the context of the show.

I suspect the public will choose a winning couple rather than a skilled solo performer.

I've just watched all of Ray and Maria's routines again to see if somehow i've missed something regarding their connection/partnership and/or them dancing 'together'. Nope, I still have no idea what you are getting at, they absolutely dance together and imo have an amazing partnership.

As for his routines being the same, to me that's laughable and couldn't be further from the truth especially in comparison to the other couples.

From what I see, the celebrities that are capable/competent/confident enough to have an individual move put into their routine will do so on occasion, I believe most don't because they are not competent enough to pull the move off well.

Well it'd be pretty rude if she didn't say she loved to skate with him...

Well its all down to opinion at the end of the day, I should have stated that I meant it as such so I do apologize. I just don't feel or see any connection between the two of them. They look like they have fun out there but thats it, there doesn't seem to be much more.

I guess I worded it wrong when I said they were "the same", I don't mean as in exactly the same dance etc.. I mean, every week it just seems like the performance is about him and not them as a team, I just don't feel anything when I watch them. It could change tonight when we see something they've actually worked on and choreographed themselves, plus its a slow routine so I think it'll work for me tonight.

They're all capable of skating solo but, maybe its just me, but I want to see them all skating as a team and not just build a performance around a special move that the celebrities have individually.

I think she said that he was 'the professional partner' she never had.

It is tricky to tell who will win. I do not think Ray will because for some bizarre reason, people do not like him.
Unfortunately, I think Hayley will win.

Go Beth, Ray and Suzanne!

What makes you think that. Everyone I know thinks Ray is the best skater and he comes across as a nice guy too. I guess you're one of those people who think Liverpudlians aren't nice people. The same happened with DOI, but the Liverpudlian won in the end.

With Suzanne out, Ray's chances have certainly improved as she was the only one who could even get close to him, assuming you accept that 'getting close' in this context is not getting lapped by him.

It would be utterly insane if he doesn't win and all that the public would have achieved if they vote otherwise would be to devalue the end result.

The race for second has got interesting. Beth is in contention. You can see Ray winning - even if she has a big vote - though, as people will not think it right for someone just outside being one of the two best performers to win. its just unlikely that anyone now left in can match Ray on performance and match his difficulty with equally big tricks.

The show narrative though has been completely destroyed. They have damned Beth and Kyran on performance, and now pointed out Hayley's lack of difficulty. Each time they built Suzanne up as the contender, they ruined their own argument the next week, and now their latest twist has taken her out too. All they are left with, is claiming that Sam and Kyran are competitve - but we know they have a vote problem - so thats a fail too.

He is way better than any of the others, so I think it boils down to personal popularity, he seems more popular than he did before, for some reason people didn't seem to like him. But when it comes to the skating none of the others come close.

If Ray doesnt win it will really devalue the show.
It would be embarrasing really.
He is so far ahead of all the other skaters - good though they are.
It really would be a "personality" show then - not a "talent" show.

I want the best skater to win - and (barring any huge mistakes or accidents) it has to be Ray.

In my opinion Ray is by far the best skater technically and also has good performance skills. Doesn't mean he'll win though as it seems to be more about 'popularity'.

I can see Hayley winning - currently being on Corrie will help her I'm sure. She may be a good 'performer' but it annoys me that none of the judges seem to comment on her lack of technical skating ability during the short periods her feet are actually in contact with the ice.

Nice girl but she does need to skate a bit more to compliment her acting and performance.

I have never been a big fan of Ray, but he is a fantastic skater and I can't see anyone beating him. I would love Beth to win ...just to pee off the judges.

The judges won't care - they get paid regardless!

I suspect it might bother Beth a bit though unless Ray has an absolute shocker in the final that would justify defeat.
