It's been a real privilege to come back for my 20th time (I believe?) and to reach this far is incredible, I would have loved to make the final but I couldn't have lost to 3 better competitors, best of luck to all three of you

What can I say? You always put so much into these shows, and bring so much personality to them that it's a massive shame to see you just pipped at the post for the final place in the Grand Final.
However, it's not all bad news, because you did get to Sabotage Round, which you seemed to really enjoy and certainly entertained the rest of us with, in your very unique way.
Well done on making it to the semi final, and I'm sorry that you couldn't quite make the final.

I do sometimes put effort into these shows
But my aim was always to make the sabotage round as I never have on twist & sequins/On Ice/Athon/Real Time, so making it and making it to the semi final is a fantastic achievement for me

In the Grand Final you will all take on THREE routiines
Routine 1
I want you all to select your Favourite Routine of the series. This can be any routine you did from show 1 up until now. Like in the semi-final, you will need to make any improvements that you think might bump up the score from the last time. Make sure you explain in a sentence or two what changes you have made so the judges can see.
Routine 2
There is no theme for this routine, so it is your Freestyle/Showdance routine. You may pick any song choice you like. You must then submit an outfit choice for you and your partner based on your song choice. As well as this you will need to submit staging for the first time this series This doesn't mean choreography. Staging can be anything from the lighting in the studio, the lighting projected onto the ice, the decoration/colour scheme of the judges table, the studio, or the stage and any props that may be present on the ice. You may also use a prop in your routine (as with the real show, a table, a chair, an umbrella, whatever)
Routine 3
For the final routine, you will all dance to the classic "Bolero" music. So you do not need to choose music for this piece. Your task is to each design your own bolero outfit for you and your partner to skate the classic dance to.
I need your choices in by Thursday at 5pm latest please. You have a few hours extra as there are 3 routines for the final

Very Well Done to Mith for making it this far, to be honest it would've been a shame if any of you went out as you were all as deserving as eachother to get to the final. And it was a shame to see you go but you have had a good journey this series with plenty of good performances to be proud of

You both deserve to be there! The semi-final was incredibly close, and could of gone anyway! Don't get too drunk celebrating tonight, go all out for the final!!

I thought this has been (since I have joined DS) your best series you have competed in, and am gutted you have gone! I would love to have seen your bolero outfit!
