I can't remember Wilson Pickett's "Land of A Thousand Dances" ever being used for a Jive on Strictly. It might be too fast paced for a contestant, but how about a great Ensemble Jive by the Pros next series? Would soooooo love it!!

OMG!!!!!!! I can't believe I couldn't recall that from the old memory banks! #sympathyforbrucienowWhat a great version of the song by the SCD Band, the vocalist was brilliant! ![]() And a super Jive by Kimberley & Pasha. I loved the 60s KittenTastic vibe to it! Purr-fect!

The chorus from "I'm In Love With A Wonderful Guy" from South Pacific would be perfect for a VW.
Dave Arch could do a lovely arrangement. From 1.25 onwards. http://youtu.be/Xny7G9YrrBU |

How about a night of songs to annoy the PC brigade, containing words that might upset Harriet Harman
Olivers Army by Elvis Costello Fairytale of New York No milk today - The Hollies I am sure there are more - maybe " The sun has got his hat on" if they can find the original version !! |

Stay With Me by Sam Smith could work as either a Foxtrot (think in the same kinda vein as Harry & Aliona's) or a Rumba.

My one, fervent desire, is that they don't do what DWTS has done and use exclusively club tracks for Tango/Argentine Tango. It was dreadful every sodding week watching the Americans butcher the Tango, there was 1 good one all series and that was in the final! Beyond that, I don't care, be as experimental as you like, but get some proper Tango songs please!

![]() That didn't sound like a club track to me (except perhaps the beat at the end). And I can understand that for dancestyles like tango and paso the options are not limitless (unless you want to constantly reuse the classics). |

Quite a current track, Problem - Ariana Grande ft. Iggy Azalea for a fast paced Cha-Cha-Cha?

For a Samba:
"Another Star" by Stevie Wonder (for anyone who is not familiar with this track, particular the younger DS posters, this is the music which is currently being used by the BBC to promote the World Cup). |

I can see Rather Be by Clean Bandit being uncomfortably shoehorned into a week one Cha-Cha.

Sophie Ellis Bextor's latest single for VW / Waltz - perhaps Brendan can use it as a tribute to 'his girl'

All of Me by John Legend would work for a Foxtrot, I think. And very nice it would be, too.
