Great suggestions there Sherlock!
Great Suggestions, I particularly like the Rumba choice
All of Me by John Legend would work for a Foxtrot, I think. And very nice it would be, too.
Oooh I love this song, it's very popular so i'm sure they will try and squeeze it in somewhere!

A few rumba suggestions:

This version of katy perry's unconditionally. Actually think it's better than the original!
this version of she wolf by david guetta. there's a clearer version here.
and a bit of a weird one, female of the species by space. maybe for halloween?

I hope they don't rely on so many repeats this year.

Some never before used songs I'd like to see included:

Quickstep: Weapon Of Choice (Fatboy Slim), Spider-Man Theme (Michael Buble: Junkie XL mix), Tightrope (Janelle Monae feat. Big Boi), Mr. Blue Sky (ELO), Walking Back To Happiness (Helen Shapiro)

Foxtrot: All Of Me (John Legend), Stay With Me (Sam Smith), My Angel Put The Devil In Me (from Doctor Who), That Ole Devil Called Love (Alison Moyet)

Charleston: Jimbo Jambo (Rufus Wainwright), Crazy In Love (Emeli Sande version from The Great Gatsby)

Salsa: Into The Blue (Kylie Minogue), I Know You Want Me (Pitbull), Sing (Ed Sheeran)

Tango: The Mission Impossible Theme, Turn Me On (David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj)

Paso Doble: Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) (Kelly Clarkson), Conquest (The White Stripes), Kashmir (Escala feat. Slash)

Jive: Happy (Pharrell... it's bound to happen!)

Because I'm a picky sod, I'm fairly sure that Walking Back to Happiness (the dance that made Letitia Dean vomit) and Mission Impossible (good old Peter Schmeichel) have been used, but they all sound more than feasible!

How could I forget a bilious Tish Dean?! Darren used to pick the campest music didn't he- Walking Back to Happiness, Material Girl, Devil Woman. I suppose Robin is his spiritual successor with his ABBA/ Bucks Fizz/ Aretha Franklin triumvirate from last year.

I think the biggest crime music-wise last year was the choice of "World Of Our Own" by Westlife for Fiona and Anton's rumba.

If they really have to go modern for Tango, I think 'Love Runs Out' by OneRepublic might be a good choice (I still don't know how on earth 'Where Have You Been' is a Tango)

I'd love to see 'Fuego' by Bond used somehow, possibly a Paso Doble? It's maybe a bit too quick, but it could work.

^ Actually whilst I'm thinking about it, 'Diablo' might be a decent AT, minus the rap of course.

For an Argentine Tango, this song would be absolutely perfect!

Depending upon how that song's Strictlified, it could also make a decent (if not totally traditional) Salsa, I've always thought.

Just another one, and I think this song hasn't been used on any version of Strictly, British or international: What It Feels Like For A Girl

Would make an AMAZING Rumba.

I would love someone to dance to the 'Allo 'Allo theme tune. I think it would make a nice Waltz.

I am dying for someone to do a waltz/VW to The Only Exception by Paramore.

Other ideas:

American Smooth - Nobody Does It Better
Argentine Tango/Paso Doble - Clubbed To Death
Foxtrot - Comptine D'un Autre Etre
Jive - I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)
Quickstep - Happy Feet (Yes, this does go to The Muppets version)
Rumba - Uninvited
Salsa - I Like It Like That
Waltz - Anna

What would we all feel if one of the singers in this years line up danced to one of their own songs.
Harry Judd danced the paso doble too ego on one of the Children In Need Specials and I am sure Holly Valance danced the Vinise Waltz to cry me out by Pixie Lott.

I wondered this and there actually was one on DWTS! Theme and all!

Has anyone got any celeb specific songs for certain dances? Maybe Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting for a jive for Frankie?

Edit: btw a quick little tip for thinking about songs - for it to be a waltz/vw you need to be able to count "one two three one two three" to the beats of the music. If you can count "one two three four" then there's no way you could dance a waltz to it
