I think it was funny odd, rather than funny haha, which has often come through in these chaps works.

Tonight's don't seem that great, kind of half, maybe quarter, watching it.

some funny moments. actually sort of knew she'd end up being the witch. didn't expect him to have him burnt though.

I guessed almost straightaway that it'd be him laid in the barn tied up.

The previous 2 have been much better than this, but that's not to say I didn't enjoy it, I love how diverse each episode is.

Disappointingly predictable inasmuch as it was obvious that the twist would be that Gadge really was a witch. Still, some actual laughs in this episode; it did at least allow Pemberton and Shearsmith to indulge in a bit of silliness.

This week's isn't gonna provoke as much of a reaction but it was still pretty decent. It could have done with being a little scarier...

The funniest thing was 'Warren Clarke' I kept getting a laugh out of that!

It was enjoyable, more campy than the first two. What was the story with the crow at the beginning? Couldn't catch it.

Frankly I think it would have been less predictable if in the end she hadn't turned out to be a witch, I was happy enough with just the 'switcheroo'. Apart from that though I enjoyed it. As for those complaining about last week's [excellent] episode not being a comedy, I think the most enjoyable aspect of this show as a whole is never knowing exactly what you're going to get each episode.

Personally I wish the daughter had been the witch. Though then the story wouldn't have worked, cause would she really risk her own mother being burned?

I guessed the end and yeas it wasn't a comic masterpiece but it had it's moments and they clearly had fun doing it.


I liked that too. Also 'Goody Two Shoes' and David Warner being attracted to the instruments of torture and the nod Monty Pythons Life of Brian (Biggus Dickus) where the villagers were ordered not to laugh.

Really enjoyed this, after last week's fantastic episode it was good to have a silly one to follow, and lighten the mood.

As soon as Clarke was found tied up, it was obvious Gadge would be the witch, but plenty of funny lines in there.

I didn't enjoy this episode at all.

I was distracted by the barn they were in. To me it looked identical to the barn that appeared in doctor who a few christmases ago? Not a great doctor who fan but I think it was with the previous doctor. I am sure someone will enlighten me!

The problem this show now has is everyone is now expecting a "twist". From the very beginning it was obvious the woman would get away but then be revealed as a witch. And it was obvious Shearsmith's character was under the hood.

This episode was all a bit boring really. No laughs, no drama, no anything. Just thirty tedious minutes. Definitely the worst episode of both series.

It was okay.
The humour didn't seem to work for me. The bits where the David Warner character lets slip now and again that he's a pervert didn't seem to work for some reason. It might be due to the way it was directed or because that sort of joke has been done so many times before.
The voice Reece Shearsmith put on for the character he was playing was very distracting for most of the episode too.

The best bit for me was when the witch suddenly breaks the Steve Pemberton character's neck and kills him. I think that bit was very well done.

Last week's was very good indeed. Quite similar to a Charlie Brooker type Black Mirror story without the technology angle.
Last night's was okay. Quite watchable due to the story and the folk horror theme. But wasn't funny enough, and if it isn't that funny then the quality of other elements such as the drama have to be high, but I didn't think it quite achieved it.

I thought he was attempting a version of Vincent Price, as Matthew Hopkins, in Witchfinder General.

He was, although a bit james mason-y! And his character was revealed to be Matthew Hopkins, at the end, I think

It reminded me of Olivier's Richard the Third! (The beard suited him!)

It was Mr Two Shoes. The joke was that his wife was called Goody.

No you're not , I enjoyed it too ! Better than last week , which was the weakest of the three so far ( just my opinion ! )

I was bored of this episode after about 5 minutes. I watched it through but it wasn't one of the better episodes they've done.

The best part for me was David Warner and his character.

I found it amusing, although it got me thinking about that blackadder episode Witchsmeller pursuivant and now I want to watch that..hehe
