I thought this was very clever and as always with Shearsmith & Pemberton there is a great attention to detail and everything is immaculately put together. I just didn't find it as engaging as last week's. I find silent comedy difficult to love as personally for me, funny = words, as a general rule of thumb.
Having said that I did laugh out loud at the blow up doll bit.

Yes I understood all that but the final killer just turned up. It was a bit random but then the whole episode was.

I loved the woman turning out to be a bloke

But surely it was anything but random? The deaf mute person turning up at the end had been specifically sent to steal the painting. He was a cold blooded thief/killer in the guise of a cleaning salesman. And very good he was too.

I did find the thing about the painting confusing too, and where it ended up eventually. And what exactly was on the wall at the end.

I guess I didn't understand much at all ”

But he did just deal with them. Obviously he was in it with someone else who maybe masterminded the whole thing.

He was simply letting them know that it had went ok and he had the artwork. The other two guys were a minor annoyance he just snuffed out.

What was in the frame was kitchen roll which we clearly saw Reece putting in there to hide the fact he had removed the real one.

I suspect you weren't really watching this. Some people nowadays find it very difficult to just sit and watch the tv.

People talk through programmes, text, browse the net, comment on here, just basically don't pay attention. Then they miss something vital and wonder what the hell is going on!

I'm with you.

It is comedy genius & if the first 2 episodes are anything to go by, it's going to be a brilliant series.

Masterpiece. Should win awards all over the place. Why they didn`t go with this first off is a mystery (I assume they were scared about it being largely free of dialogue).

OMG that was soooooo funny. So much better than last weeks episode. The blow up doll under the bed with the penis. When he threw the dog at the glass door. Reece Shearsmiths facial expressions were priceless and Steve Pemberton looked even funnier with the balaclava with the little ears. It's just a shame Kayvan Novaks character had to speak at the end cause it would have been perfect if the entire episode was silent.

This was the funniest thing I've seen on TV this year. The bit with the two dogs made me laugh uncontrollably. I also loved the parts with the blow up doll, the chillis, the domestic in the cupboard, the twist at the end, the suitcase landing on poor Denis Lawson. He serenaded me once, always great to see him in a top notch show

I think you had to watch every minute of the episode to get it, Turning away for a few second would make you miss so much. Maybe the people who lost track did not do this?

The changing the picture for the kitchen towels was so clever and in the background almost that someone distracted would miss it.

I love anything league of gentlemen and loved this.

Totally different to last week and just as enjoyable which speaks volumes. Much more of a comedy. I appreciate there's a twist in them all but I hope each one isn't going to end in a last minute death.

Must confess that my pedantic side couldn't stop thinking that someone that had the expensive tastes of the house owner, plus the obvious wherewithal to match them, would have a £12 Ikea floor lamp in the house, let alone have it in such a prominent position in a minimalistic layout!

I agree, I don't know what is there to get. It was quiet explanatory.
Someone kind of accused me of not getting last week's because I said I didn't enjoy it

I've followed both and although I didn't enjoy last week's I thouroughy enjoyed last nights. I thought it was a fantastic 30 minutes of telly.

I like that they are doing something different. Last night with the lack of dialogue and a small cast and the 'rope' episode in Psychoville.

I thought they would have had a gigantic tv rather than that small one

Both episodes have been superb. I thought last night's would be difficult for me to concentrate on as I have the worst attention span but it was superb and I thought it was clever, funny and generally brilliant.

Well I'm sure even their diehard fans are going to like some episodes better than others.

I love them. I loved Psychoville and LOG too.

I also have bit of a soft spot for Reece!

Spot on.

You absolutely have to watch every single minute of this series to see the nuances & pick of the bits of dialogue that make this programme the great comedy that it is.

This is why I was despairing at those who were commenting last week about the show being rubbish before it had even finished.

By all means, slate the show if you think it's rubbish, but at least have the nous to watch the whole thing first & don't treat it like the X-Factor or something.

Oh please. It was nothing like that. What a ridiculous analogy. Just because some of us didn't like the first episode doesn't mean we are thick. I'm sick of these comments saying certain posters are generally stupid if they post a comment during a show or can't concentrate. It's possible for some of us to do both and still make up our minds about a show the same way others who post afterwards do.

He wasn't good at all. He killed two people and nicked some kitchen roll.

I just pointed out that if anyone didn't understand what was in the frame at the end then I guess they weren't watching. Since we clearly saw kitchen roll being used.

Missing stuff like this tends to happen when the person concerned is busy online. Maybe posting on Digital Spy that he/she doesn't think what they are watching is very good.
