From the Jokers website:

“This is a perfect storm for Jokers, which started three months ago. Briefly, a very large company asked us to delete something. We did. They were then incredibly rude: I simply called them on their business conduct, and said any future communication would be through my lawyer. They apologized and for a day or two I thought all was good. Then it occurred that a business who rakes in several billion every couple of months ain’t gonna apologize: this was a setup. I wondered if other materials on my site breached their TOS - I was going to pull them too, but wiser heads prevailed - “ask them before pulling, Cat.” I sent an email in which I said we didn’t want to further cause issues, so was such and such content alright? Their answer was swift. The next day, our ad account was revoked. Completely revoked: our income went to zero.
We’ve been fixing ever since: we re-applied last week and were denied. So back to fixing. And, ergo this damn post.
We’re all in the same boat, you guys and Jokers. Economy sucks: nothing we can do. You poor guys can’t help yourselves, much less us. Boy do I get that! The upshot is clear: Jokers will shortly be offline for at least a month (if I’m lucky, and my luck ain’t been so hot lately.) First time ever we’ve had to go offline, but life happens. I’m as sorry as I can be, just sick over it. When I’m able, I’ll tweet that Jokers is up again. Keep your eyes on Twitter and your fingers crossed - and we’ll see you on the flip side.”
I'm gutted. I don't contribute there, but it's where I get my info/updates from when I'm unable to access the feeds.
It's gonna be tricky to keep up with what's happening now
