I'm glad Jokers was saved, though last year really opened my eyes to how bullshit
some of the updates there can actually be.
I literally couldn't work the forums there if my life depended on it, so only ever really visit for the updates (and I like the poll too!) Last year though, having watched more live feed than I usually would, I came to realise just how desperate some of the updaters are to promote their views on the houseguests and it really frustrated me. So many conversations I witnessed first hand were completely manipulated to the editors fancy!
(I remember vividly a conversation where Amanda listed countless nice things about the-soon-to-be-evicted Helen to Andy and McCrae, ending with a clearly jokey "but other than that, I hate her face" or something - can you guess what the sole comment on the updates section was?)
Towards the end, I just stopped visiting all-together. It felt like every single thing that anyone said in the house was being misreported and it just felt like people were desperately trying to get their moment of glory by being the first to report the latest non-controversy in the house. It was literally the type of thing where if some of the houseguests dared used the word black, it'd be frantically reported as the latest crime in the house, even if the comment was "I love your black shirt!"
I think stuff like that can get really dangerous, especially when the show was already under such pressure from the legitimately bad things that had been said. I really hope that type of thing doesn't continue this year, but you can just imagine the first nights of feeds these same losers waiting there at their keyboards, waiting for the first houseguest to say anything that they can use for their attempt at glory!
Oops, that turned into quite the rant!

Two weeks to go!
