Logik TV screen gone purple.

Model L19LDVB19, had it less than 2 years, was fine until yesterday then the screen has gone purple when i try to watch the tv through the HDM2 input source. The DVD still works fine. Is there anything that be done please or is it time for a new set?, thanks.

Is it OK on the other inputs?, and what are you trying to watch on HDMI2? - has that source perhaps gone faulty? (or just need rebooting).

At less than 2 years old it is not time for a new set, it is time exercise your rights under the sale of goods act.

However I think it is probably a source problem rather than TV.

I just watch normal TV/SKY through the HDM2 source as that what it was originally set up to do but the whole screen is purple and will not work. I cannnot seem to get the TV to work using any of the other sources yet the DVD is fine.

I decided to unplug both the TV and Sky box, remove all connections from both, left them for an hour or so and put everything back together again and hey presto it worked. Don't know how or why but the TV seems to be working again.
