For what its worth I actually think its a really good game, pretty tough at first until you get used to the 'no assist' controls, direction and power are all down to skill (luck), you can have the green grid for judging putts but that's about all.

Playing against other online players but at your own pace works really well, no pressure to rush shots. Some good players out there though so never short of a challenge as there will always be someone better than you !

£28 for something this gen of consoles is short of is well worth the money, will keep me entertained for sometime.

Its getting a lot of criticism aimed at the controls, I was watching one guy on youtube, he wasn't impressed with the lack of assists but then in the same sentence almost he was saying how addictive the game was, so I'd agree with him there. But I think what makes the game play so addictive is the controls, your not just aiming where the computer tells you, your not hitting the ball with perfect power because the game holds your hand through every shot. There is some challenge to the game, ok this approach maybe not for the more casual golfer but me personally love this game.

Well today's the day. Should start receiving some Stateside feedback around teatime. Though for a more balanced, considered assessment I'd give it 48 hours, allowing any potential launch quirks to be dealt with.

From a feed I had a quick glance at, the gfx pop in on T off shots was still evident on ps4. Looks like it's a miss from me for now.
A good point they said was being able to park your game and play from where you left off. Handy if you discover you don't always have time for 18 holes.

If you can ignore the gfx then I agree. I don't feel I can. For me I wanted to move away from gfx pop in this new gen

It had been a concern of mine that terrain heavy courses created on a high powered PC would contain too much detail for even new gen consoles to handle.
I think this may be the problem with some of the videos which feature graphic issues. Bear in mind that almost every PS4 stream right now feature PC generated courses, which are often very object heavy. I'm confident however that when designers start creating specifically for console, we'll start seeing smooth moving visuals on a majority of courses. Feedback on the PS4 edition has been generally very positive apart from some launch day stuttering issues linked to server and friend lists. HB have since patched and rectified this.

So 48 hours in, and with ongoing fixes and enhancements planned, I’m satisfied that this one is well worthy. Having said all that I’m probably going to pass for now because we donated our barely used PS4 to our little fella. And for my very casual gaming needs the PGA Golf Series on the ever perennial PS3 will suffice.

PS.. HB have confirmed that the PS4 edition will release in the EU next Wednesday 3rd.

It had been a game I was looking forward to but the more I see, the less I like the look of it. Like Yuffie, I'm pinning my hopes on a PS4 release for Everybody's Golf
Well, I'll definitely not be buying Golf Club after this news http://m.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/new...oOEykM0YwbQNbp

Irrelevant to me because I’m full on out, but there’s been a few issues over the last few days with PS4 TGC. Error CE-34878-0 causing crashes to desktop and game freezing, HB are looking into it. Also be aware that downloading certain object heavy PC designed courses are not going to run well. However all current and future course designs will feature an object placement cap which should alleviate this problem. Just thought I’d mention the latest to any who are considering a purchase tomorrow. Here’s a Link to HB Studios bug reporting forum for up to date details.
